The rooms are fine, weird having a seperate WC, but they were clean spacious and surprisingly got one of the best night sleep I've had in a hotel. Unfortunately, the gluten free breakfast options seriously let it down. Yes they provide GF Bread and seperate toaster and it was good to see a cereal choice too, but when it came to the cooked breakfast, I was pointed towards the vegetarian options and told these were what I could have. Beans, Mushrooms, vegetarian sausage that looked drier than a desert and Hash Browns. Apparently, the fried eggs, bacon and sausage are for some reason not GF. And whilst sausages quite often aren't (but these days essy to source), how eggs and bacon that are naturally GF aren't is a mystery to me. I think this hotel as with many others need to remember having Gluten intollerance isn't a lifestyle choice, but a medical condition.

Great location for people travelling from all around. Beautifully decorated. Food at a good standard. Great DJ and photo booth is a great extra. Negatives: 1 person behind the bar was an issue.

Lovely decor. Nice and quiet. Friendly staff. The food was delicious. I would definitely go again. I wanted to say a special thanks to Juliet. She made us feel so welcome. She was so attentive and polite. She even offered to take a photo for us.

We went for afternoon tea, and the whole experience was wonderful. It was for a birthday so our table was decorated with a birthday banner and the birthday girl recieved a card and gift, which was completely unexpected but a really thoughtful extra touch. Jose looked after us and although he was busy he made sure we always had drinks and were happy with our food. He was attentive without being overbearing. I would absolutely recommend other people book an afternoon tea at the novotel!
