Situated at Birmingham International Airport, this modern hotel is just a minute's walk from the Airport Terminal. Ibis Budget Birmingham Airport is also just 2-minute shuttle ride from NEC, Resorts World, Genting Arena and BHX train station (Airport SkyRail shuttle). The hotel has 120 modern guest rooms, each with an en-suite shower, air cooling and a flat screen TV. All rooms are non-smoking. Please note that the hotel does not have its own car park. I wasn’t expecting much from Ibis Budget hotel but have to say our one night stopover before our early morning flight was excellent. Each member of staff, from reception to restaurant and bar, were so friendly. I also experienced an issue with room heating but it was dealt with in an excellent manner. I was offered another room or a portable heater opting for the heater. Great location for departures, just a two minute walk away. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Good stay for a conference

Stayed here for a work conference and the room was simple and clean. Room was nothing special but this is reflected in the price. Tea and coffee is available on the 1st floor. Would be good to have some sigh post for that as not easy to find. Things I really did like. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were lovely! Something I really liked too. I had a full size towel and not a tea towel sized one. this was a welcome change from most hotels I stay in.

We didn’t actually end up staying here in the end, but it was the night of Storm Geretti when all flights were terminated. I inadvertently booked the wrong date so we ended up sleeping in the lobby as the hotel was full. My review is about the staff - the night staff on Thursday 8 January through to the morning of Friday 9 January. They were so helpful and friendly at a time when we were very tired, cold and enduring a very long night! They went out of there way to help me arrange a refund for my error and were constantly checking we were fine. Excellent service - highly recommend staying here based on service! Also a shout out to Patricia who I’ve since spoken to 🙌

It does what it says on the tin. A budget hotel in an ideal location for the airport. Room okay. We were well looked after by Gourav in restaurant. Nice evening meal with 10/10 customer service.
