Good location, good room & good service

Stayed here for one night as part of a tour whilst in Bordeaux. The room was nice, small but comfortable & the bathroom was huge. However, there was no vanity space or place to put anything 🤷. Staff were friendly enough. There is a bar attached to the lobby and restaurant, which was nice, it closes at 11pm. Ni e place to unwind after a day's sightseeing. The hotel is an easy walking distance to most of the main attractions & is located on a tram route whi h is handy. I'd stay here again.

Tired, smelly room and floor (floor 8, room 810). The cleaners were on the floor as we arrived and the smell was at its worst. Its clear that the cleaners are not emptying their vacuum cleaners or they're chronically blocked/ broken. I'm not at all convinced the floors in the rooms or corridors could have been anywhere near clean. The smell was like a stale musty smell with damp thrown in. We booked the room as part of loyalty points with AMEX to enable an overnight stay in the city as part of a wider trip so no time to pack up again and change rooms. What was worse was the noise a night from the rickety air con unit. I went down to reception in the night and they didnt have ear plugs to help with that. It's clear they put us in the crappiest of the crap rooms. No one should have to stay in a room or on a floor like this. They should be embarrassed.

Probably better options if you are cycling

An Ibis which thinks it is posher than reality! Although reception reluctantly allowed us to put our bicycles in the room I was confronted in the lift by a man without ID saying it was not allowed. Bit disconcerting and made me think I should have chosen somewhere more welcoming! Coffee and orange juice at breakfast awful

This hotel was booked for a one night stay during a Costsaver group tour. This is a very big, modern hotel and a short walk to a large shopping centre. The room was a good size but the bathroom was small. My room had a QS bed and a sofa bed, also tea/coffee making facilities and electrical points and USB charging points. no safe in the room, good bedding and good breakfast.

Ok for a quick break !

Good location - easy access to shops, bars and restaurants. Room was clean and functional and ok for one or two nights however no tea/coffee making facilities or mini fridge. Towels were very small; almost hand towel size and hand towels were actually not provided. On a positive note there is secure paid parking which in a big city is bonus.
