London Heathrow Ibis is perfectly located if you need to stay the night before a flight with easy transport links to all terminals. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds provide an excellent nights sleep with spare pillows above the wardrobe if required. The staff, as always, were friendly and attentive. Sidney, at reception greeted me by name and was warm and welcoming. Simran in the bar/restaurant was lovely, had a beaming smile and provided excellent service. Yet another great stay at ‘Ibis London Heathrow’

Did not catch my connecting flight and was sent here by BA. Nothing was exciting tpo be honest, except Bea from the restaurant on G/F showed care and helped me to charge my phone!! Such an extra mile she made!! Without her my phone would be dead and I would enter radio silence for my entire stay in Heathrow!!

Hotel Hoppa Bus is Dreadful

Beware if you are relying on the hotel hoppa as we were, to get to/from the hotel from T3. There is ONLY ONE BUS PER HOUR!! The worst hotel hoppa service I’ve ever seen. Not the hotel’s fault but if I had been aware I would not have booked. Otherwise the hotel was great.

Style eclipses Practicality

Small double looked stylish on entry but wasn't very practical. The batroom had obviously been the subject of a STYLISH makeover. However the chiice of Dark Anthracite Grey floor and wall tiles and these being combined with the mirror light being the only source of illumination would to my mind make these rooms UNSUITABLE even dangerous for people with failing eyesight. But then in the room simple things seemed unconsidered. The placing of the kettle on the contoured desktop was 8 feet away from the nearest socket. The provision of Tea and Coffee and Sugar/Milk was miserly. For a double room 2 sweeteners and 2 sachets of milk is hardly enough for one cup. But I suppose it ticks a box somewhere. A safety concern. On leaving the room I couldn't find the stairs/lift. There weren't any clear information signs visible. How i would have found an exit in an emergency I don't know. Lastly I do despise the begging by reception staff to leave a good review of them personally. They are supposed to do their job politely THAT IS THE NORM.

This hotel is comfortable and affordable. Accessible to everyone with lifts to all floors. Rooms are clean and comfy with all the essential things you need for a quick stay. Rooms are very hot and stuffy. If you open the window, you won't be able to sleep. Plus, bin man comes at 4 00 am right outside window of room 222! Food was good but hot food was not very hot!
