This is a great hotel. Incredibly well connected. VAL2 airport bus stops minutes from the door and there is also an underground station on the U4 line also minutes away. The shops and restaurants on the main shopping streets are in spitting distance. We walked everywhere. St Stephens Church is the nearest monument surrounded by a market for Xmas. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and I would recommend anyone to stay here. We visited numerous different markets. Saw a performance at The Spanish riding school which was magical. We wished we had bought a larger case as there are so many things to buy and luggage here is expensive !!

Comfortable Stay in a Prime Location

We stayed at this hotel and found its location incredibly convenient, being very close to the city center with easy access to public transportation like the metro and tram. This made exploring the city and its attractions effortless and stress-free. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast offered a decent variety, though better oversight of the buffet would be appreciated, as basic items like milk sometimes ran out without immediate replacement. Our Privileged room, although surprisingly on the first floor rather than higher levels as expected, was clean and comfortable. A highlight of this room type was the complimentary minibar, with all items provided free of charge and restocked daily. Additionally, the quiet ambiance of the hotel and the surrounding area contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Decent stay in a fairly central location

Didn't get off to the best of starts as the TV wasn't working. However reception were quick to respond and a technician resolved the issue with a new firestick. The room wasn't huge though it was adequate for the two of us. The toilet seat is pretty close to to the glass toilet door (which rattles a bit when you open and close it, or bump into it) which may be challenging for larger guests. The bed was comfortable enough and the room was very warm. The cleaning service was very good and efficient. It is close to a lot of facilities. Stephansplatz underground station is a 10 min leisurely walk. There are shops, restaurants and bars nearby and a bigger shopping area just past Stephansplatz. There is a well-stocked Spar Gourmet just down from the hotel. The hotel also offered a free city centre walking tour on the Saturday morning which focused on the area around Stephansdom so didn't venture too far from the hotel. I also did the Donaupark parkrun on Sat morning (9am start) which was reached by the U-bahn U1 red line (10 min journey and 5 min walk from Alte Donau station). Central Cafe is well worth a visit (not extortionate prices) but you may have to wait in a queue outside. The interior decor is quite stunning. The staff at the hotel were always very friendly and helpful and they spoke very good English.

Great location—just a 5-minute walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral and right at the corner of the main shopping street. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, with the airport bus stop only 10 minutes away. The rooms feature a comfortable bed and pillows, complimentary espresso and stocked mini-bar with soft drinks and water. The check-in and check-out process was very efficient.

Located just off Rotenturmstrasse and within walking distance from the St. Stephan's cathedral. The rooms are quite small, but not claustrophobic and have everything. The bathroom is quite good and elegant. It's location is central, but still off the noise.
