Zuerst das Positive: Die Lage direkt am Bahnhof ist perfekt in Metz. Gegenüber gibt es einen sehr großen Parkplatz für 10 Euro pro 24 Stunden (Hoteltarif). Das Frühstück ist übersichtlich, aber es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Und nun zu den Punkten, durch die es leider nur zu einer mittelmäßigen Bewertung gelangt hat: Wir hatten leider einen "holprigen" Start. Beim Einchecken wurde von uns der gesamte Zimmerpreis für unsere Buchung verlangt und auch von der Kreditkarte abgebucht. Glücklicherweise ist uns eingefallen, dass wir den Preis (außer ein paar Euro City Tax) schon über Expedia bezahlt hatten. Das hatte aber zur Folge, dass wir erst ein paar Tage später unser Geld zurück erhalten haben. Dann ging es weiter mit dem Zimmer (212). Es war genug Platz für uns drei Erwachsene (ein Doppelbett und eine Doppelschlafcouch waren bezogen), allerdings erwarte ich in einem 3-Bett-Zimmer auch 3 Sitzgelegenheiten . Es waren aber nur 2 vorhanden. Die Klimaanlage (Hauptgrund, warum wir uns für dieses Hotel entschieden hatten) funktionierte nicht, es tropfte im Bad von der Decke und der Toilettendeckel lag lose auf dem WC. Das wurde zwar alles umgehend gefixt, war aber trotzdem mit Umständen verbunden. Eine Anfrage bei Hotelmanager, ob für all diese Unannehmlichkeiten nicht ein Discount (auch für einen evtl. zukünftigen Aufenthalt) angemessen sein würde, wurde abgelehnt. Das ist alles andere als kundenorientiert.
