Fabulous food and service. First time at this hotel. Brilliant location. Lovely decor and very smart inside. Cool bar and incredible brunch. We had a nightmare with Eurostar cancelling our train at the last minute. The hotel were fabulous and offered to extend our stay. Huge comfy bed and pillows and the room was very quiet. Lovely.

This is an okay hotel but definitely nowhere near 5 stars. Some staff were excellent but then there’s the other half of the staff who were awfully rude and honestly lazy. For example Dimitri at the bar was fantastic, he went above and beyond every night we visited the bar, he remembered our drinks. One of the nights he was busy so we ordered with another man who had grey hair and a grey beard. I ordered a drink that came with tequila and mezcal and said I only wanted mezcal. He said no! Just like that, very rudely like I was making his job very difficult. I then told him I had it the night before and it wasn’t a problem, so he mumbled something and walked away. Dimitri thankfully came to the rescue. Another night I tried to ask a woman who was working at concierge alone what time the hotel restaurant closed. She said I would have to ask them. I was so confused because I thought that was her job. So I said “ok” and walked away. She then noticed I was staying at the hotel and walked after me. I mean, why be so awfully rude to begin with? Another issue was that housekeeping left the dirty water and coffee cups in our room for days. We had to ask after 3 days if they could please take them. She took them and then left them outside our door for hours. I have to go to the front desk to ask if they could clean up the cups outside our door. The guest relations staff was very nice and resolved it but obviously something like that shouldn’t happen for days. It wasn’t a one day mistake.

Worst Paris hotel experience! I wouldn’t even send enemies here

I stayed in the hotel for one night. While there was a mix-up with my reservation, the team helped me secure a room for teh night. But the new room was cheaper, but because of some archaic systems they are using, they couldn’t refund me the money back or give me hotel credit, so I needed to try to spend all the money in the hotel, which I couldn’t ultimately, so I ended up having to leave money unspent, which I couldn’t even use on any future stay. So disappointing. But regardless the team at check in at the front desk were extremely helpful, and even opened up one of the rooms for me to freshen up in. But the room I ended up using was so small it was ridiculous, the toile was separate from the rest of the washroom, and was in a room teh size of a small closet. The shower was the most narrow shower I have ever been in, almost like it was a tiny corridor that was repurposed. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept in. Then there is the “gym”, which is just a small room in the restaurant on the ground floor, which may have originally been a storage room and was changed into a “gym”. I was on one of the machines. Someone came and used another machine, it was fine. A third person came and used the third machine and mine just stopped working. I lost all my performance history, couldn’t continue my workout. When I told the front desk they didn’t seem to care that much, but that is the worst thing you could do to someone who is training. Absolute worst experience ever, and I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Paris on a lot of recent trips.

This place was wonderful from start to finish. Very helpful concierge. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was terrific. The location was central and walking to places from the hotel was enjoyable.

A Fabulous Hotel in the Heart of Paris

A beautiful, recently renovated luxury hotel in the heart of Paris. The staff was top notch and very helpful with directions, especially early in our visit as we got our bearings. There are 2 metro stations within 500 feet of the front door that will take you anywhere in Paris. Forget Uber or a private car, the only way to move around Paris efficiently is the Metro. Buy a day pass for zones 1&2 for 8.50 Euros and you are all set. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious and when we picked up a bottle of Champagne on our way back one evening, we called ahead and asked for an ice bucket and two Champagne glasses and they were waiting when we arrived. The only notable exceptions were the lighting system in the room that controls every light, but only on or off. If there was a way to set mood lighting we didn’t find it. Finally the toilet paper was fancy and embossed but extremely coarse. All-in-all, a wonderful experience!
