Double Charged Card and Unexplained Bites

I deleted my first review. I was double charged on my CC. Despite management knowing this, by virtue of them responding to my first review, the double charged remains on my debit card account some 2 weeks later. Lots of apologies by management but not action. Search their reviews and you will see that double charging their guests is a recurring issue. On reviewing the pathetic response of the management to my review, I see some recent guests have been bitten by bedbugs. I too had a few bites but due to the pond outside I presumed it came from mosquitoes, even though I had not seen any and had not opened my window... Message to the management - do not insult me with your pathetic response until after you have cleared the double charge.

This hotel is a bit older. It has a restaurant and the rooms are simple. Unfortunately my Rooms washroom did smell. There was a shower,tv. They have lots of rooms. In addition there is. Gift shop and food shop in the lobby.

Unfriendly and incompetent staff, bad food

Very incompetent staff which could be forgiveable if they werent also rude and unapologetic. They failed to find my room and told us to book into Ibis Budget because there were no other rooms available. Apparently, our booking had been “cancelled by us” back in June (months ago), and they claimed there was nothing they could do. After moving us to Ibis Budget, I asked a different service desk across the foyer about our booking, and suddenly, our bookings did exist :/ Clearly, they either have terrible software and a useless supervisor who came down just to tell us we were wrong and there was nothing he could do! WTF

Disgusting buffet food!!

Had a cancelled flight so KLM booked us in at the IBIS hotel for the night. Very tired looking and basic rooms which I suppose you expect from an Ibis. The buffet food was honestly the worst food I have ever seen, it was disgusting!!! I had a tiny piece of chicken, couldn't face eating anything else. Ended up buying some crisps. Staff at reception were helpful.
