Good experience for my 2 night stays here. Upgraded to executive room as I am the gold member. Decent and clean room with a proper workstation. Gym in the hotel is medium size with weight and treadmills which is pretty good. Walking distance to tram/train/metro station and Amstelpark which is a nice park to chill. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The breakfast spread is fit for a 5 star hotel, we just loved being spoilt for choice with yummy pancakes, variety of nut butters, fresh eggs at the egg station...and all this amid a spacious restaurant with lovely views. The triple room allotted to us on a higher floor was spacious, comfy beds and pillows. A luxury to access steam room and a gym in Amsterdam within the hotel. Location is perfectly connected to tram and trains both ways to the airport and centraal station. Hotel Lobby well maintained and has a nice shop too. They organised a small contest for Easter day and gave us memorable gifts to celebrate Easter.

Okay, rather bland and over-priced

The location is okay as you can get a tram or train to most places in Amsterdam not far away. The area is popular for conferences though there is little of interest otherwise. For the rather high price, the rooms are rather bland and basic. Most is functional though there are minimal amenities in the bathroom and the shower is half open, the water leaks over the edge and it is quite dangerous - there are no handrails and the floor gets slippery when wet. I can only assume the hotel has nickel and dimed it rather than caring about the safety of customers. The room amenities are okay, incl a coffee maker and kettle as well as a lounge which is useful. However the room is too plain and bland.

No Dutch speaking at front desk

During two days I was for business at your hotel. At the front desk "NOBODY" was able to speak Dutch. They could help me in English and were laughing because I found it strange that at Amsterdam I couldn't be helped in Dutch. Two years ago I experienced the same thing when at your hotel when an employee said he didn't speak Dutch because he came from Curacao. ?? Seems that Dutch at Amsterdam hotel isn't a priority.
