Disgusting food, absolutely ripped off.

The Ibis hotel buffet restaurant food is absolutely disgusting. €27.50 for food that belongs at best in a soup kitchen. Soups made up from a packet and trays of lukewarm 'pulled chicken' that tasted processed and out of a tin. We paid €55 as a couple for utterly vile food, so angry.

This is a great hotel for the price, located near the airport with free shuttle to and from. Decent restaurants inside also has a bar free breakfast and transportation located directly across the street shuttle service is 24 hours to airport not bad at all.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service I experienced during my recent stay at IBIS As a loyal Accor customer, I was shocked by the events that occurred: - At 7:20 AM, a housekeeper entered my room without knocking. - At 8:40 AM and again at 9:20 AM, the same thing happened. - Despite calling reception three times, my concerns were dismissed, and I was blamed for providing the wrong room number and not placing a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door. What I find unacceptable is that: - The housekeeper did not knock before entering—a basic standard in hospitality. - The reception staff failed to verify my name against the system during any of my calls. This experience caused significant discomfort and disrupted my stay. I demand appropriate compensation for this unacceptable service and urge you to ensure corrective measures are taken to prevent such incidents in the future. Ibis hotel is convenient if you depart from Amsterdam Airport. We have stayed here before and experience the same as always. I think they put new mattresses on the beds. They are thinner and they move, so half way the night, I almost fell out of bed. The shower is a bath and I think a hand rail would make it safer. Rooms are small but still reasonable. After dinner we would have like a decaf coffee, but this is not available in the hotel. Overall OK and we will come back if we travel again.

RUDEST STAFF IN THE LOUSIEST CRAZI3ST HOTEL. The room has ZERO amenities. PATHETIC. Not even a glass to drink water. If this is like this, how will their budget hotel be? Their site says ironing boards are available on request at the reception. But not one but two staffs at the reception were so rude to me n their reply when I asked for one. They almost bit me off. If you can neither be friendly and courteous to your guests nor be truthful on your site, why are you in the hospitality business?? BTW the hotel expects you to take your shirt and go down to ground floor reception, stand next to the bar, among so many strangers enjoying their drinks, just to iron your shirt in some sort of 'common ironing table. What kind of crazy weirdos designed this hotel?? Never again to another ibis!!! Btw, their shuttle bus frequency is crazy too. Between 9 and 10 PM there is one every 15 minutes but betwe10 and 11 pm it gets to one in 40 min only. Then again it gets better after 11 pm with one every 30 min. Craziest buggers run this hotel!!
