Staff was excellent. I had phone issues and hung up on reception. So someone came up to my room to make sure everything was ok.

The hotel is in a great location. Housekeeping was not great at times. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned 3 times during our stay. Despite indicating on door that the room must be cleaned.

Generally we had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and the hotel itself was clean and sleek, the rooms were well stocked and modern, and the food was good. Samba Ndayie was particularly kind and helpful. The only challenges were that before I got there, I found the email communication with the hotel to be less than courteous and not overly helpful - at one point I didn't get a response for over a week. And, the food (like Sunday brunch) was super expensive.

Letting the big pool to local without informing before I book Lack of English speaker staff. When I rang a bell to reception, they picked up the phone with "what do you want" Not very friendly staff. Overall, overpriced, overrated.
