Great hotel, centrally located in the old part of Freiburg with parking below the hotel. We had a lovely corner room with balcony looking over the Cathedral. Spotlessly clean, great bed and linen and staff could not have been more helpful including recommending and booking for us dinner in a nearby Stubli which was excellent. We will definitely be using this as a stopover again.

Well located, room size was fine. Just a very strong smell in the the room which is not very nice. Window was opened at my arrival probably to make this strong smell going away. Once I closed the window it became annoying.

The hotel is centrally located; the room was ok-ish, nothing spectacular; the carpet needs a good cleaning, it was stained. The breakfast was fair, but it lacked sweets. Good covid measures. I felt safe. Overall: fair price.

Compact fresh rooms with AC. However AC is really noisy. Lack of amenities, but it’s explained as COVID-19 measures.

Location great. Room was nice. Bed excellent. Coffee making facilities would have been good. The aircon was exceptionally poor. Hardly worked. Room was baking hot even with it on. Asked for a bottle of water on our second night and told we had to pay for it. Seems harsh.

The hotel is fine but nothing sticks out. The person I was travelling with and myself mostly just needed the room to sleep and we both found the bed/ matras rather uncomfortable. It's more like a bed you sleep on instead of in. We were new to the hotel. Upon arrival there was no sign to lead you into the garage. We had to call the hotel te be sure we drove into the right garage.

Nice hotel, very clean. Pamela at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was equipped with everything you could need. The mattress was maybe a little firm for my taste but I still got a good night's sleep. It exceeded my expectations of a 3 star Mercure. Overall great experience!

We arrived well ahead of check-in time and our room was ready. And without any hassle key cards were given to us. Very few hotels accommodate such early checkin without charge or without a facial expression. So first impression , wow. And then next day, the breakfast was amazing. Several options. Tried food in FLAVE, it was awesome. So overall great hotel.
