Is not too bad just that i wanted to make payment with my point and the lady at the reception said is not possible, is unfortunate. They said there machine is not working am surprise but for room is ok

The reason for this positive review is the ongoing effort of the local staff that are always ready to support you, even in busy times, and their kindness. Although this hotel cannot be compared to other again, the staff makes it a pleasant stay.

The room was dirty and in unacceptable condition!! It was absolutely a no-go for my toddler. From the carpet to the ventilator in the room everything was rotten and completely in bad condition! The room and probably all the rooms/ whole hotel should be renovated immidoately!!!! I have sent an email to the manager of the hotel and also has the photos taken of the room. The money paid should be returned back to me!

More like a UK travelodge . Awful pull out lumpy bed for the children - they stayed way second night. Breakfast good if you like rubber scrambled eggs and bacon scraps. They insist I go one for 200 word minimum but I think you get the message . ANother way of saying it is that I do not normally share a car park with huge lorries & trailers , nothing against lorries and their drivers , but I was expecting more than a truck stop..

I think this aging hotel deserves renovation, rooms and common areas. The restaurant also deserves to be renovated, both on the menus, on the furniture and on the atmosphere. On the other hand, the breakfast is very correct, and appreciated. The room I occupied was filled with cigarette smoke (via air conditioning) as soon as someone smoked somewhere (in the next room? Next to the air-conditioning entrance?) Very unpleasant! The door of the bathroom is no longer closed (worn hinges), the carpets are very damaged by the years. The people at the front desk are very knowledgeable and available.

We paid extra for. 3 person room. The ‘mattresss’ on the sofa bed was useless... metal springs poking into the sleeping person. Our room was at the end of a corridor. No wifi... didn’t seem to reach that far. Was told by staff that wifi is supplied by another company and do I want their number to call them... shouldn’t Novotel have done that? 1 drinking cup supplied between the 3 of us. Lot of dust. Tired room. Building looks on need of renovation.

Very good service and helpful. The breakfast was nice but too expensive. There is an outdoor swimming pool which nice for friends and family. Good service by the reception. The Tv was not working all though I did not report it karmer 221. 1

Novotel Antwerp for purpose of my visit has a very good location. Rooms are big enough, clean and tidy. Service always on good level. Hotel offers very good environment for work and rest. Overall - very good standard for its price.

i have stayed in this hotel many times and I can say it's the kind of place where you can relax after a hard day . There are many excellent facilities such as free of charge parking and swimming pool with garden . The rooms are quite old fashioned and they would really need to be refreshed . The breakfast is quite good and the restaurant not bad . It's my second home when I go to Belgium on a business trip .

I picked this hotel due to its location as I went up in to the Netherlands whilst on holiday, the hotel is modern with good facilities, an excellent room and good evening bar in the lobby, I would stay here again if I am in the area again.

Ok, but don't plan on eating

I am an Accor Platinum member so I have extensive first hand knowledge of a lot of Novotels. This one is the worst by far. The hotel is in a good location for my work but I think it's time for a change. Two things particularly stand out. Firstly the room is dominated by the TV. It's a 50 plus inches and is slap bang in the middle of the wall. I couldn't open my bag on the stand, and couldn't use my laptop on the desk without banging the bottom of the TV. Secondly, the restaurant. I went for dinner at 2120 and there were less than a third of the tables occupied. There was a barman and two restaurant staff on duty. Tables had not been cleared from previous customers, and had to be done so for me. Next came the wait for a menu. It took so long that I went and got a drink from the bar and was back at the table before it arrived. The menu arrived at 2130 and I ordered straight away, as I'd read it at the bar while I was waiting. By 2200 with nothing in sight I asked the waiter where my food was. It's coming was the reply. A couple of minutes later he came over to ask me what I'd ordered. Not a good sign. By 2215 I'd had enough of waiting so I cancelled the order. It's too late to eat by now. A few minutes later the food arrived. Hang on, hadn't I just cancelled it? The waiter's attitude was that he'd done me a favour by rushing my food out and couldn't understand why I sent it away. No word of an apology. I would like to say that this is a one off in the restaurant, but my work colleague was similarly unimpressed with the service, and I have seen it nearly this bad before. I shudder to think what it would be like if the restaurant was busy.

Nothing to do in the area of the hotel, but a good place for a night's sleep. Clean, modern rooms and friendly staff - the receptionist who checked me in was especially welcoming, as were all the other staff I spoke with.

Very busy at the reception (took me more than 20 minutes to be served as there was only one lady and a long line). Despite being Platinum there was not room upgrade, no free drink, and nothing. Rooms are standard; beds terrible and run down. Not worth to be called Novotel, maybe the Ibis next door is even better. Breakfast was ok.

My second bizarre experience here. Last year it took us about 4 hours to get dinner. This year I was told I was sitting in the wrong place for breakfast, that the area was for “business men”. My friend was accused of owing money for drinks had on the night before we arrived! Reception staff were very nice. The bar and restaurant staff seem overwhelmed even when there are not so many people there.

The staff were very friendly. The room was a little tired but at this price point, I'm not unhappy with that. The matress on the sofa bed could have done with replacing but all in all, it was a lovely hotel and we always stay in Novotels due to them all being of a very high standard pretty much everywhere we goWell done, keep it up

Service in the restaurant was much better this time because the waitress called Charlene was attentive and worked so hard She was excellentRooms on the 3rd floor are dated, the 2nd floor is much better. The complementary water was missing both days.

The fron desk service was ok but the Service of the stuff at at the breakfast was not good, the location is far from the center, and the rooms are very average. there is nothing that a family can do there
