Long stay for an event in Paris

Globally, the hotel was an average Mercure hotel. With an average service, which explains the average mark. A/C in the room was not really working, which was a major issue when we had days above 30 degrees. Reception people were not particularly friendly, and as it seems, my Gold status with Accor (at the time of the stay was ignored). Bar was closed on Friday-Saturday-Sunday (my stay included two weekends) so that was rather disappointing, and I do not believe it was COVID reasons, as was completely open the other days. Again, overall, average.

It is surrounded by bars and shops/restaurants, only need to walk a bit and look at Google maps. The reception was a bit slow and breakfast a bit expensive. There was also a french breakfast but not healthy with croisants and other cakes. I would suggest the hotel to offer a middle breakfast for people that do not want to eat a lot in the morning (cofee and sandwich).

Room was nice, but my wife was hurt by an air vent falling off the wall on to her in the bathroom. Reported it to reception as we were leaving, receptionist apologised and said she would report it to her manager. Would be nice to get an official reply from hotel management on substandard facilities.

After our 1st hotel for our week in Paris, which was to be one of the hottest on record, did not have A/C...we scrambled to find a hotel with the necessary amenities (and seriously, A/C should be a listed amenity Hotwire?!?!?!?!). We stayed at Mercure Port de Versailles to start the vacation so we knew it wasnt going to be a safe selection. Breakfast is great, everything you need and some really good fresh squeezed OJ, good streaky bacon, Nespresso, Cappuccino, great baguettes, cured meats. Only downer was the lack of cheese selection but thats being nitpicky. The best way to get to all the sites in Paris is to take the 125 Bus at the corner to the Gentile RER-B station...the go to the necessary stops you need (Denfert-Rochereau, Sant Michel-Notre Dame, Gard du Nord, etc.). Ther are some legit good places to eat withing walking distance to the hotel...Monterosso is great italian. Franprix grocery next door is a great amenity as well. No complaints about our stay.

Went into room found clean and tidy , had a quick shower then out to a meeting. Back later on and when using sink in bathroom water not draining away , went to receiption to ask for a maintenance man, non available as weekend . Lady at reception very good gave me another room straight away and just across the alleyway form my original room so no hassle , all good

Good hotel, good rooms , good breakfast, helpful staff. Definitely one of their good hotels.Small walk to metro so its convenient. Very safe. Very good hair dryer !Just bring your own shampoo n conditioner

It was a nice hotel but it's not simple to give an opinion for some reasons. The first day we had a nice guy at the accueil , the other days they were just regular. Each time to enter to the hotel we were invited to ring a bell and sometimes we had to wait to enter because they were busy to open. At the room we had a noise that came from the room up to ours. We don't know it it was problem with something or just the person in the other room. We had a bad smell coming from the bathroom time to time and the heaters dry to much the air at the room. The breakfast was nice enough, that's why we choose Mercure each time in Paris and that was ok. The location is regular too, the place was calm enough. I think they should renovate the hotel in many ways, i think they started doing that at the restaurant, but they should continue with the room that look a bit old.

Quiet hotel

This was our first stay in France and we were here for a conference. This hotel was convenient to the metro and our conference sight. The staff was very attentive to our needs. My only complaint was that on a very rainy night there were no restaurants open within a short distance.

Tired hotel and poor service

I stayed for 3 nights over the weekend that included the 1st round of the Presidential election. For 2 of those nights, the restaurant didn't open (no reason given) and one day my room was not cleaned. I think this probably says enough.

Building works were going on, and the environment was dusty and unpleasant, but no acknowledgement was given of this.I have stayed at this hotel on approximately 10 occasions over the past 18 months. Now as a loyalty card holder I don't specifically expect any preferential treatment, but I recognise all of the staff when I enter the lobby, but still get treated as if it is the 1st time they have seen me. As a frequent traveller, a basic 'welcome back' is always appreciated, but never forthcoming here. There was also no water in my room.

The rooms are smal but well-equipped and very clean. Beed is super. Friendly and helpsome staff. Really good breakfast, with a good mixture of North American, Continental and French elements. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and it takes ~30 minutes to get into the city center by Metro. The parking lot was closed on the last day of our stay, so we had to park a blocks away

Comfortable Stay

Nice size room with comfortable bed, good TV and shower. 10 minute walk to Metro but if you're driving there is a good sized car park on site which is a reasonable price for central location. ( £15 for 24 hours). Friendly and attentive staff eg providing without asking at our 2nd breakfast something which we had requested on our first morning.

Stayed here on business in Paris last week - chose it over Novotel as at least 80 Euro cheaper for 4 nights + breakfast. Very nice quiet, comfortable rooms, aircon very quiet even when on level 2 and was able to sleep through. Tried one evening meal which was better than some good restaurants tried in centre. Even a goodie bag on check in which was nice touch. Will definitely look to use Mecure again in future!

The room smelt of bad drains and the food in the restauraunt was mediocre at best. The burger was cold and the starter didn't taste of much at all. There are great restaurants around and about the hotel so that will be my choice next time I am in the area.

It has been a while since I last stayed here and some changes were noticed, in particular the variety offered at breakfast has been reduced. The room was fine and the complimentary bottle of water appreciated. As a personal preference I would have preferred a bath, but the shower was fine.

2 nights stay for a business trip. Hotel conveniently located along the Peripherique. My room was larger than I am used to in Paris, which was a pleasant suprise, and it is just a short walk to the metro. Good value for money.
