Hotel Mercure Paris Arc de Triomphe Étoile bintang 4

The Mercure Arc de Triomphe offers mid-range, clean and comfortable accommodation. My room was to the rear of the property and was very quiet. The wifi worked reliably for business use. I probably would not bother again with the breakfast as there are loads of options nearby including a supermarket and bakery. The only other downside was the room was equipped with a shower head at half-height rather than a stand-under unit. The hotel is near the Arc de Triomphe (hence the name) and has nearby Metro connections for the rest of Paris.

This was one of the few relatively affordable hotels available for a five-night stay in November. Staff were uniformly professional and efficient. Checking in and checking out was effortless. The breakfast area was kept very clean and well laid out. The elevator is compact, but I never had occasion to share it with others. I preferred taking the stairs anyway. I stayed in a spacious Superior Room with One Double Bed on the 4th floor. I had requested a quiet room away from the elevator. Mine faced the rear of the building, just above the roof of the breakfast room. I never heard any traffic noise -- and noise from other guests was minimal. The bed was quite comfortable, and the duvet kept me so warm that I didn't need to run the heat overnight. The toilet is in its own small compact space separate from the bathroom. I would have preferred a regular shower head, but I was able to make due with the handheld device without spraying too much water everywhere. Location is good -- it's just a ten minute walk north of the Arc de Triomphe, where one can catch Line 1 to the Louvre and other Right Bank sights. Bus lines (always worth learning when visiting the city) connect you to other parts of the city efficiently and affordably.

If Paris is the place to be! This hotel (mercure Arc de Triomphe) is the place NOT to be, NOT to stay AT! Ever seen such a place with NO services! NO courtesy! NO style! And NO elegance! Shame on the team on its management!

The staff were very helpful during the checking in and out process and looking after our bags before/after checkout. This meant we could still explore! Our room was facing the road but of a night time we couldn’t hear a thing, which was a nice bonus. The location was great just moments walk from the arc de triomphe. Would recommend!

A short travel to Paris to take part to the SITL. Kind reception, good location, very quiet room, wide range of products on the breakfast. Everything was right as usual. One of my best choice in Paris.
