Overall the stay is good but the room need to be renovated as is it really getting old.

Excellect Osaka base

Spent 8 nights as a base for all our day trips from Osaka. The hotel is perfectly located to both railway stations and metro and all the shopping that comes with them. Had a suite that was large for Japan with views over the city. Bathroom needs to be updated but I believe the hotel is progressively doing that. We were well looked after by the staff in the executive lounge, especially by Tya and MJ. Steve Forrester, the director of food and beverage had put a good team together. Mark at the lobby cafe has mastered the new Aussie coffee machine so was a welcome source of mochas and piccolos. A perfect long stay base was exploring the Kansai area.

Hi, overall experience is good. But encounter some issues with the check in frontdesk, housekeeping and dining experience. - Frontdesk 1. The check in staff Lady is can’t remember her name should be Natshi, upon check in at the All priority counter, seem like unfriendly because with any smile and greeting when checked in and i showed her my booking details she don’t even bother to see and took the wrong guest name ( Colin Y.) which my name is Y. Ka Wei , and then her attitude changed because i felt that maybe the guest is not a Accor member or whatsoever. I told her it’s not me and then she took very long time and she found my file and her attitude changed i believe because my accor platinum membership she changed. And she gave me the room cards both are not working and as a result the bell man helped us to open the door and change the card. Overall, i felt the front lady need to be improved seem like look guest down. I felt very upset upon check in. Compare to Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel, Marriott service is better than Swissotel. 2. Housekeeping - The housekeeping staff left the mould cleaning detergent on the table. Luckily i saw it or else my 2 young son (3 & 6 yr old) will play with it so dangerous. I have it safe for next day i return back to the housekeeper ( A indian male guy) . 3. Dining Experience - We are the unlucky one who sat opposite a down syndrome guests who suddenly came over attack my young son ( 3years old & 9 years old) luckily the father stopped her and pull her over ( Happen at 2 place dining area & lift area), I’m sure that we didn’t disturb or talking to them. As the distance is quite far apart but i understand the feeling of the person but is feeling unsafe and freighted my kids. Overall, i have a very good experience for the Executive Lounge staffs very polite and the bell services guest service supervisor (old guy) who helped me the luggages, he very friendly and i like his services very well.

The rest was great except for the pillow. The pillows provided were small and soft which didn’t give support to the neck which make it very uncomfortable in sleep.
