We arrived at Peppers at Moonah Links on a Saturday night around 5 pm… It was freezing and we were both looking forward to bath. There is no plug… Called Reception and we received a plug within 20 minutes. Pour the bath only to find the plug didn’t fit and it kept on losing water so we pulled the plug out only to find the water was cold. We called Reception and they told me they had one room left and we would have to move… That was 8 o’clock at night. I was then told that we would receive some compensation for the disappointment of our stay. The following week I called them three times nobody bothered to return my call then I emailed and no one bothered to email me back, Care factor zero! We won’t be back! We paid full price for our room $480..🥴

Do not bother!

I was here for a conferemce and this hotel was such a disappointment. My room was the furthest you could get from the main building with no shelter in inclement weather. After staying for two nights, I was then told I would have to move rooms for the third night. After questioning why, the lady on reception ( who had no name tag), asked me to stop raising my voice. I certainly did not raise my voice, however she was extremely rude to me. She treated me as a hindrance and not once smiled or tried to resolve the issue. The food at morning tea, lunch and dinner was disgraceful. Dietary requirements were looked upon as an inconvenience with no options given - just the one meal whether you liked it or not. Not one person checked to see if my food was okay even when they saw it virtually untouched on the plate. There is no care here and certainly not worth the money. I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this place to anyone.

The resort is tired and it appears there has been no money spent on it for many years. It would have been glorious in its day but since 20 years later it is not. Clearly the management is mean spirited about keeping the maintenance up and this goes onto its dealings with its guests. The smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night and kept me awake for an hour. No apologies and nothing offered. No communication at all! When I approached reception and directly asked they offered one breakfast OR a late check out. REALLY?? An hour in the morning is not equivalent TO ONE HOUR AT 3am of SLEEP!

Worth every cent

Located on an expansive estate, this resort is great for regular travellers or avid golfers alike. The room we booked for two nights was a very good size, and also included a bath and shower. Really enjoyed our stay here and will strongly consider booking here again if we're in the region

3 single friends booked a weekend away and requested 2 x singles and a sofa couch. Arrived on the first night to see the singles had been left as one King with no housekeeping staff around to separate the beds and provide extra bedding. I love my bestie but value my physical space, so no sleep for the first night. Sofa bed was obscenely uncomfortable and wouldn’t let my dog sleep on it, so the other bestie also suffered. Second night our beds were separated but one was ridiculously hard and the other was lumpy. Everything else was average. Given the eye watering $899 cost for 2 nights, I’ll be staying at RACV Cape Schank for my future trips.
