Hotel is situated across from a lovely park and walking distance from the CBD. Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable enough. Only criticism is the lack of car parking spaces. There is free on-site parking, but I had to park on the street for one night as every space was taken.

We attended a 3 day course close by in Brisbane Street. The Hotel staff were excellent, hospitable and friendly and accommodated all of our requests, including parking for the full days on arrival and check-out. Crockery was supplied on request by reception for use in our room. The room, including the bathroom was more than adequate and well equipped and quiet. We would definitely stay again.

Room was good and comfy but right next to stairs and as people came up used the window to lean on was loud and noisy, Couldn't use iron and board properly as iron was hard wired.

We stayed at Hotel Launceston which is part of the Mercure Hotel. Our King superior room was very spacious & clean, hotel staff were friendly and the Hotel has free off street parking which is a bonus, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again
