Last weekend was well spent at Minaro Tokaj Hotel. It has been our first experience in the region and I could say that area is just dreamy, like a small Tuscany. Our experience in the hotel was incredible, we spent ~ 4 hours in the spa, for us was first time when we didn’t get bored and totally enjoy it. The sauna sessions and then cold bath, was extremely reviving. Stay outside in the jacuzzi while enjoying the suna a glass of sparkling wine, it’s called perfection! As for the service, staff is very kind and friendly, I would dare to say in a very authentic way. Food was delicious, we had half board and selection was very generous. We really relaxed and we promised that we’ll come back!

Amazing experience and recharge!

The Hotel and the room looked amazing. What is outstanding compared to similar hotels is the longer than usual opening hours of the wellnes area (until 10PM) and also the check-out flexibility (until noon). The wellness area is nice, well-equipped, sauna seances were great. Also, the cold pool was a very good option after the sauna (the pool outside), however, I don’t know what’s the alternative of that in summer. Food quality was outstanding too. Have to mention that the staff was EXTRA attentive and nice, you could see they really care about you and how you feel. The only bad thing was the booking process - I couldn’t use SZEP card on the booking platform and hence I couldn’t choose tomoaz upfront which would have been the cheapest option. Also, there were many bugs on the balcony and outside, but that was less disturbing and also was aware that the hotel had been already taking actions against that. Overall, excellent experience with minor things that can be improved.

We had a wonderful experience at the property. The spa was the highlight of the stay, well equipped with massage, sauna, whirlpool, and both indoor and outdoor pools. They offered a sauna experience that was unique and very relaxing.

Hidden Luxury Resort

Second stay in this hotel, we will definitely come there more than once. Perfect welcome, very friendly staff. Hotel away from the city, very quiet area. Breakfast and dinner delicious, huge selection of dishes. Large spa area, pools with warm water outside. We were here once in March and the smaller pool had heated water. 20 minutes on foot from Tokaj, less than 3 hours by car from Budapest.
