Excellent Mercure property. We were upgraded into a newly refreshed room, which was really excellent, with clean and comfortable bedding and a stunning bathroom. Great to have aircon in muggy and hot Salzburg. The city itself is very accessible, and we liked being away from the bustle of the town and yet close enough to walk a few blocks to the main tourist spots and train station. Lovely and consistent welcome from the whole team. The only downside was purely aesthetic - the breakfast room/restaurant and its garden are showing their age and could be updated, compared to the design of the rooms. Of course, I’m glad that they are renovating the rooms first! Would stay again.

Good experience, nice to find sanctuary place, a bit far from bus shelter, but Salzburg is so walkable. But, wonder if the hotel could provide a family room. I know, unlike Asia, the hotel limit 2 guests per rooms. But a family room will also be nice :). Providing shuttle to train station also good idea, since it is very close, but luggage is a problem for traveler.
