Overall very pleased with great location, quality of food and facilities but would prefer more personalized attention to the details. Restaurants and beach unfortunately were very occupied.

This year, the experiences was disappointing. The service and personnel was very rude and with a Poker face and fake smile. Very sad having such a beautiful hotel with a great location but, with a very bad service experience. I advise you guys to do a very extensive work to get waiters and agents behind counter to be more professional than that. We spent a good money and we expect a very good service. Take example on the Sharm Sheikh Team.

•What’s the point of the going to the beach at 7:00AM for gaining a better seat place to reveal that all the seats is reserved with towels and nobody is actually there and as the lifeguard stated these seats are reserved from last night by other guests and when I asked when could I get a good view seat the answer was nobody knows literally… so people just get a towel put it on a seat and from now on and for the whole reservation time on the hotel this seat is his/hers.STRANGE. Also on the same point we are 4 persons we reserved 3 seats on the beach then went to have a snack to get a surprise when returned that one of the seats is stolen and our things were moved form its place…That’s it anything else was good enough

Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel was extremely disappointing and far below the standards we expected. During our stay, the hotel experienced a major power and water outage, which significantly affected our comfort and overall experience. What was even more disappointing was the lack of proper preparation and support from the hotel management in dealing with the situation. Despite the circumstances, we were not given the option to check out early or receive a refund for the unused portion of our stay. We found the hotel’s response to the situation unprofessional and unsatisfactory, particularly given the impact the outage had on our stay. We expected the hotel to take responsibility, provide appropriate assistance, and offer a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and we would not consider staying at this hotel again.

Everything was great except several minor issues. The check in and check out process is a bit of hassle. We arrived by car,they took our laggage immediately out of baggage and while we were dealing with baby our baggage already was gone , worker took it inside of hotel and didn’t inform us… also we asked for parking they told us we can park by ourselves and when I told them where is vale? Only than they took car and park it. Also when we did check in it’s a bit long to wait in line and not relaxing process. And when we give room key to concierge and he took our baggage I swear he was like running to elevator to drop baggage to our room which is I understand you have tooo much guests, but it made me run after him with baby in hands… I wish check in process would be more relaxing. Check out also a bit long, but acceptable. Overall hotel is amazing! Well organized clean and nice facilities. Food is great!

The view, sea and food variety are all excellent but the facilities are far less compared to the large crowd surrounding the hotel. During my 24-day stay, I noticed some Travel Agencies bring large groups which made the hotel unbearable at those times. I hope you can find solution to this serious problem

I booked from August 27 to August 30, but I had to check out on the 29th due to a power outage. There was no AC or lights in the room; the only thing working was the fridge. I was supposed to get a refund for two nights: the early checkout and the night I stayed without power, as they promised the power would be restored in the morning, but that never happened. I'm very disappointed that I paid almost $1800 USD for three nights and yet I didn't enjoy my stay. I would like to be refunded for at least two out of my three nights!

I spent an entire night at the hotel without electricity or running water. It was an extremely difficult and unacceptable experience. I even had to take a shower using a flashlight because there was no electricity.

My stay was significantly below expectations due to a combination of unclear information, operational shortcomings, and serious maintenance failures. The remote location of the two‑bedroom suite in Tower 6 was not disclosed at booking, and the limited golf cart service resulted in repeated long waits just to access basic hotel facilities. The suite itself showed clear signs of neglect: mould in the fridge, missing kitchen essentials, slow and incomplete housekeeping response, and overall poor upkeep. The situation escalated into a safety concern when pieces of marble fell from the vanity top on your last day, highlighting a lack of proper maintenance. Altogether, these issues created an experience far from the premium standard the hotel claims to offer.

The experience was not pleasant due to the following: - Building (4) has a sewage odour maintenance issue; - The facilities are concentrated in the first three towers, leaving the remaining towers without facilities. - The pools and beach capacity don't accommodate all guests; for example, you can't find an umbrella or sunbed after 10 am. - The golf cars are very limited, and you have to wait a long time if your unit is in the last 3 buildings. - The waiters and workers don't provide the same services to Egyptian guests as to non-Egyptian guests. - Overpriced for everything; for example, one Red Bull costs 600 EGP, 10 times its original price.

Our stay at Rixos Premium Alamein was a mixed experience. There were many things we genuinely enjoyed, but unfortunately, some aspects were far below what we expected from a hotel positioned in this luxury category. We arrived at around 2:00 PM, but we were not able to get our room until approximately 5:30 PM. Waiting more than three hours after arrival was especially difficult because I was traveling with my pregnant wife and our baby. What made the situation more frustrating was the attitude at reception. There was very little warmth or hospitality, and the reception staff did not even seem to be smiling or trying to make the waiting experience more comfortable. At the beginning, we were repeatedly offered rooms that were clearly not appropriate compared with the standard we expected. The first room was not the room category/location we had booked and was facing the parking area. Another room was next to a trash/waste area and had a very unpleasant smell. Then we were offered another room that had apparently just been painted, with a strong smell of paint — something particularly concerning when you have a pregnant woman with you. I explained several times that my wife was pregnant and asked if they could please consider this when assigning the room. Unfortunately, the response from the reception staff was essentially, “Yes, but what can we do? There is no available room now.” This was especially frustrating because, from what we could see, there were good rooms available, and it felt as though better rooms were being prioritized for guests of certain nationalities. I want to be very careful here because I am not trying to make an accusation against every member of the team, but this was genuinely how the experience felt to us. Guests are guests, regardless of nationality. We are all paying for the same hotel and the same experience. Favoring certain nationalities or treating some guests as more important than others is not something you expect to encounter at a luxury resort. Eventually, after escalating the issue, a manager came to speak with us. Unfortunately, I don’t remember his exact name, but I want to specifically mention that he was a very nice person, professional, and genuinely helpful. He understood the situation and offered us a much better room, which we appreciated. However, this also raises the main question: why did it take almost three and a half hours and an escalation to management to reach a reasonable solution? If the manager could resolve the situation and provide a suitable room, why couldn’t this have been handled properly from the beginning? This is exactly where the “luxury experience” should make a difference. If a property wants to position itself in the premium/luxury category, the experience should start from the moment the guest arrives — especially when the guest is traveling with a pregnant wife and a baby. There was also another situation during our stay that made us uncomfortable. One evening, my wife was feeling unwell and could not eat dinner. We prepared a small plate of food for her so she could eat later when she felt better. Instead of simply allowing us to take a small amount of food for a pregnant guest who was not feeling well, we were asked to obtain multiple approvals from different people, including managers and supervisors. We ended up speaking to several members of staff, with each minute becoming more complicated. We understand that hotels have policies, and we respect reasonable food and hygiene policies. But there should also be some common sense and flexibility, particularly in a situation involving a pregnant woman who was unwell. The whole process made us feel uncomfortable and, honestly, it was much more complicated than it needed to be. Even smaller hotels would normally handle such a simple situation with more understanding. Putting these issues aside, there were many things we liked about the resort. The beach was excellent, and the team working around the beach and pool were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was extraordinary and was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The property itself is beautiful, and we can understand why people choose to come here. Dinner, however, could be improved. We expected more variety and a stronger selection considering the Rixos brand and the category of the resort. It was not bad, but it did not reach the level we expected. Overall, we actually like the place. That is what makes the negative parts even more disappointing. We came from Saudi Arabia specifically to visit and enjoy the resort, and we were hoping for a genuinely premium experience. Would we come back? We would like to. There is a lot to like about Rixos Premium Alamein, and our overall experience was not bad. But we are honestly hesitant because we are worried that the same issues could happen again, particularly the room allocation and the feeling that some guests may receive preferential treatment. My advice to the management would be simple: treat every nationality equally, pay more attention to the circumstances of families traveling with babies or pregnant women, and empower the reception team to solve reasonable problems without making guests escalate everything to management. The resort has the facilities, beach, breakfast, and overall potential to deliver a truly excellent luxury experience. The question is whether the service consistently matches that level. We hope that on our next visit, if we decide to return, the experience will reflect the standard that Rixos Premium Alamein is supposed to represent.

I had a great stay. The room & hotel had everything I could have needed. And the staff were super kind and helpful.

Hotel Staff, accommodation & facilities were great!! Hence, hotel needs to focus more on Hygiene, especially with plates, forks & knives during open buffet. Also, it would be more professional if kitchen staff & chefs wear masks. Wishing you prosperous & growth

Worst Rixos ever!

Not a great experience. When I booked on your website I have chosen a royal suite. At the time of checking I was getting in tower 5 a 3 bedroom furnished apartment. I did not book a furnished apartment? It was very disappointing. I was telling the front desk staff though I have a none refundable booking I’m prepared to leave this apartment and lose my money if I don’t get what I originally booked and paid for. I met with the supervisor Omar and offered to change to tower 2 suite 22311 It was having 2 beds and at last hardly we managed as we were 5 adults. In your website if you mean the royal suite is the furnished apartment then this is totally misleading we know very well what it is the royal and presidential suite. This hotel do need a retuning and better management system.
