Arrived early and was pleasantly surprised I was able to check into the room. Concierge Francisco very friendly and helpful as was the front desk. Good amenities in the room. Brilliant ice machine!!

A bit disappointed

My room was very comfortable (408), although located in front of the main road there was a lot of street noise. I also felt a decline in customer service, no friendly demeanor - specifically the front desk staff are not very welcoming. I asked for extra coffee/creamer in my room - never got it. On check out, no smiles, no thanks for your visit. The only employees that were friendly were the 2 doormen, Teddy and another (unfortunately I forgot his name) I brought a group of 9 people - 9 rooms for 2 to3 nights, my complementary gift was a small box of swedish fish. The staff in LOLA - similarly not very welcoming or friendly.

The hotel is in an excellent location, has a very pleasant ambiance and great rooms. Downside: there was a lot of noise from the street that the windows didn't cancel. No breakfast included. Also, to my surprise, there was no housekeeping service. I was traveling for business and when I got back to the hotel in the evening, the room was not cleaned. I called the front desk, and I was taught in a condescending tone that I shouldn't be surprised because this information can be found in the Guest Information Booklet / Services Directory in the room. When I want the room cleaned, by default, I have to request this. Ah ok! Apart from the fact, that I did not find the booklet, it would have been more appropriate to inform the guest at check-in time. But this is certainly not a very welcoming message. I am used to higher standards, particularly in this price range. Instead of requesting housekeeping by default, how about just doing it by default? What is the point for me to go to a hotel instead of renting an AirBnB, particularly on a business trip? It is the service! Definitely, no point in coming back to this property.
