We stayed at this hotel twice during our trip, six nights in total, and had a good experience. The staff is friendly, everything is clean, the location is good and the status advantages are honoured. I would stay here again at any time.

Great location and friendly staff made our stay here fantastic. Close to a number of options for public transport and there is a Family Mart right across the road if you get a hankering for some legendary fried chicken. Has a coin laundry on site which came in very handy. Will definitely stay here again.

The room is surely designed for 1. Clean and compact, though the age is beginning to show. AC power outlets at the right places but no USB ports. BBC was the only English TV chanel and it’s not a smart TV yet. Bathroom was compact but everything worked well. Breakfast had the basics. But the outlet is a Thai restaurant so the main courses were Thai, not Japanese. Location is a 2-minute walk to the Ginza flagship stores. But the restaurants in the area catered more to tourists (¥¥¥) than locals. The coffee machine at the lobby surprisingly dispensed a good espresso (free for ALL members). Front office staff is helpful with queries.

I booked this for 4 nights in a standard room. They are very small to our standards. The double bed is small, the room is petite, 2 open suitcases fill up the whole room. Bathroom is small. So, with the prospect of spending another 4 nights there, we came 1 day earlier, was not on our wishlist so we booked for a hefty price the bigger room. That was ok, as size increases a little and you have 2 seperate beds. Downside, these rooms are at the street side where the fire bigrade is located, so they will wake you up. Breakfast doesn't exist in the hotel premises, but the Thai restaurant next door will give you a mix of Japanese/Thai/European Breakfast for 2200Y

No complaints, but would look more out of town.

Though Ginza is very nice and the Hotel is in a very chic area. I feel any Hotel which is close to a Subway station in Tokyo should be considered a “Great location.” With Tiffany’s, Nissan and Ginza Six and all the boutique stores nearby, it also means the restaurants are also rather upmarket and pricy relative for Japan. Otherwise, the room is super-efficient, which is to say small but works well for Tokyo and I wasn’t expecting anything bigger. Great water pressure and amazing toilets – going back to Australia, I just want to kick my “dumb” toilet, making me do everything myself. Why doesn’t the rest of the world have these toilets. Great wifi Staying on the 12th floor of 13th was nice. We didn’t do breakfast as it looked rather meh, and with a poor selection. Worked out about $20 AUD an adult, consider we could and did walk across the road and hand baked goods, nigiri , sushi and fresh sandwiches for about $12AUD for the whole family of 4, I felt we made the right choice. There’s a free Coffee and warm drinks machine in the lobby for Accor Plus members, which made for a great start to our day. Machine coffee, but free always tastes better. With the Ice machine on the same floor, kids had a “iced chocolate” every morning and after a full day's walking. You have to ask the staff for a cup, which leads me to say the staff were very hit and miss, some super friendly and bothered to remember us, others made us show our room keys and give our names for the complimentary free cups. Same was when asking for map or directions or anything, sometimes super friendly, to outright abrupt. As we visited in September so most days were 30C, so drinks with Ice really helped. Nice Hotel as part of the Ibis chain, no issues staying as a family (two rooms) but I must say, I preferred the Ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza East, head-to-head based on more bang for your buck and with Ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza East, being near 3 subway station lines location for both is fine.
