We really enjoyed our stay at the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi. It’s a chic hotel in a good location, very convenient to trains and Haneda airport. The room, a Deluxe Executive King room, was lovely, modern and spacious but Tokyo standards at 29m2. The Executive Lounge is on the small side but well designed and laid out so that it never felt crowded even when it was at capacity. The Executive Lounge manager, Kim, is an absolute delight and really made our stay feel special. Our 6 year old son liked her so much he drew her a picture on our last day. The breakfast at the restaurant is very nice with a varied buffet and several made to order options served to the table. Staff were lovely and we were pleasantly surprised that several spoke French. We will definitely stay at the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi again when visiting Tokyo.

This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at in Japan. Whilst it is a nice hotel I am not sure it was any better than some of the cheaper places we stayed. There is nothing really special about the place and the rooms are not huge. It is located in an interesting area, not that touristy, which is nice. It is next to the train station which makes it handy. Our room was very quiet, despite overlooking the station. There are loads of restaurants in the same building complex so there is no shortage of food options. There is also a big supermarket (Life) nearby. The nicest thing about the hotel was their happy hour which was good value. We didn't have breakfast there but there is a Starbucks close by. There is nothing wrong with the hotel but at the price they charge per night I was hoping for something a bit better.

A Perfect Family Stay with Exceptional Service!

We recently stayed at the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our family booked two rooms for a brief one-night stay on September 28th before heading to Osaka, and then returned in early October for a four-night stay. This time, we stayed in a deluxe suite that was simply incredible, spacious, beautifully designed, and featuring a king bed and even a lovely bath tub. The location was fantastic, right near Tamachi Station, which made it super easy for us to get around, including our train ride from Narita Airport. The area around the hotel had plenty of dining options, lots of restaurants, a 7-Eleven right outside, and a Life Supermarket and another convenience store nearby, which made everything super convenient. During our stay, we took the kids to Disneyland, which was just a quick Uber ride away, and we celebrated my daughter’s fifth birthday at the hotel with an incredible five-course dinner. The signature dinner was absolutely delicious, and the culinary team truly outdid themselves with each dish. Breakfast at KASA was another highlight, with a great variety of pastries and hot foods that we really enjoyed. As a Diamond member, we also appreciated the lounge access and all the extra perks. The staff went out of their way to make our daughter’s celebration special and made us feel truly taken care of. All in all, we can’t recommend the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi enough. It was the perfect base for our Tokyo adventures and a truly memorable stay.

Great hotel to explore Tokyo with brilliant transport links

We stayed at the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi for 5 nights during our trip to Japan. The hotel is located near Tamachi station which is served by the Yamanote and Keihin line and one station away from Hamamatsucho – the terminus of the Haneda Airport monorail. Close by is also Mita station which is served by the Mita and Asakusa subway lines. In essence, the hotel has very convenient transport connections to major lines in Tokyo and also reaching major railway stations such as Tokyo Station or Shinagawa (both being served by the Shinkansen) is very quick and easy. The hotel is also located next to a larger office complex which features a small food court, a supermarket and also a Lawsons and Seven-Eleven. Check-in was quick and very friendly. Our room was located on the 06th floor, spacious with a comfortable bed and featured modern interior. The room layout is rather contemporary with the bathroom sink being not separated from the main room. Shower and toilette are in their own little cubes. The room also features a Nespresso machine with daily refill of capsules. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi. Given the convenient transport links, it served as a perfect base to explore this amazing city and its surroundings.

Great location

To be honest, we didn't get off to the best start. Rather tired and flustered we walked into reception and checked in. It was all pre-paid so was fairly straightforward. But it was all a bit corporate and that frustrates me i.e. they say all the stuff but you just don't feel they mean it - and then I was asked 'What time are you checking out?'. Blimey, i thought (and said) - I've only just got here. I honestly had no idea and it just seemed a bit of pressure so they could probably 'model' their cleaning rota. Anyway, I probably overreacted - but it rubbed me up the wrong way. The other negative - to get them out the way - is the atrocious music track that they seem to play all though the hotel (or at least downstairs and in breakfast room). Terrible noise. Was doing our heads in. So the positives, or the big positive, is the hotel location. Ok, it may be sat in the business district, but it is right next to Tamachi station which is literally a three minute walk. In Tokyo, you will need to use the metro/tube to get to your destination so a close-by station is vital. This is a major bonus. The Tokyo public transport network is fantastic. The room itself was good. A reasonable size. I confess we had upgraded to the lounge access (more later) and I'm not sure whether this got us a better room but we were on the 8th floor overlooking the railways lines. So interesting! (Seriously, do ask for a track-side room so you can watch the Shinkansen gliding by). The bed was massive and the shower was mighty powerful. Breakfast offered a reasonable spread. The Executive Lounge on the 9th floor was very welcome. Not the cheapest upgrade but somewhere to escape and have a proper sit down with teas & cake or a beverage and nibbles in the evening. Not the biggest spread and a pity the lounge closes at 21h (seems very early i.e. 23h would be more realistic). But still good and worked for us. TBH a hearty breakfast downstairs in the morning and then the nibbles upstairs virtually did us for the day! So bottom line, not loads of character but does the job - well - and in an excellent location.
