After a shaky start to our break away.. Theatre cancelled..abusive vistor. Being foul to the staff. All I can say is the staff were brilliant.. So friendly..Nobody should have to put up with that sort of behaviour.. A mention about Charlotte..she was friendly..and hilarious..just what is needed. And a lovely lady ..sorry didn't get her name..(lived in Bodmin awhile ago..) Polite ..chatty .. Both an asset to the hotels.

Clean, tidy hotel, friendly staff. As we were early and couldn't check in, we got a drink at the Bar, 2 coffee's and a pint, this took nearly 10 minutes to be brought over to us (sat opposite the bar) at a very quiet period, unsure staff really know what their doing. I also went to the bar on the evening but the staff member was too busy on her phone to serve, the other staff member looked at her as though this happens frequently. Rooms clean and tidy, bed comfortable. As for sleep and being on the 3 floor sea view (privilege room), this was interrupted by the loud speakers outside playing music continuously and it was gone 5:30 in the morning before I fell asleep. I spoke to the receptionist who left a note to the night staff to turn off, although the following night it was quiet, it did get louder as the night went on - unsure as to why there needs to be music playing outside 24/7 ?? Surely from 12 it can be turned off, (especially seeing it's out of season) till the morning at a reasonable time. For these reasons I don't think I'd return to this hotel.

Sims who works behind the bar is very friendly and welcoming would definitely recommend this hotel the customer serive is brilliant

Hotel very clean the receptionist was very helpful the rooms was very clean and you had everything you need in the room the view from the bedroom was excellent The breakfast had a big variety and was plentiful

Was at ibis hotel gone breakfast here because ibis told us we had too ! We paid from other hotel and had to walk here from next door!! Breakfast was short of items and cold ! Loads of people waiting for hot drinks only ONE machine and staff didn't know how to operate it!! Staff slow and juice warm

I appreciate that you were directed from the neighbouring hotel and had to walk across, which understandably added to the inconvenience. I regret that items were limited, food was not served at the right temperature, and that service around the hot drinks machine was slow and confusing.
