I really enjoyed my stay at the Ibis Hotel Sydney. The comfort of the room and the overall convenience of the location made my experience relaxing and hassle-free. Everything I needed was easily accessible, and the atmosphere made my stay both pleasant and enjoyable.

We stayed at the Ibis Sydney for three nights in September and were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The hotel is conveniently located and it was easy to reach central Sydney on foot or by public transport. The rooms were clean, comfortable and more spacious than we had anticipated. Rooms were well equipped with all the usual amenities such as a hairdryer, safe and iron. Check-in and check-out are automated, which is efficient, though it does mean there’s less of the personal welcome you might expect. We had a mix-up with our booking for breakfast but this wasn’t a major issue as there are plenty of cafés and places to eat nearby. Overall, the Ibis Styles is a good choice if you are looking for a comfortable and central base in Sydney.

I rarely rate any hotel 5* and obviously the Ibis Styles is not receiving 5* due to being an uber luxe hotel, because it is not. However, based on two recent stays it offers exceptional value for the price it charges and exceeded my expectations. I had two recent stays, 1 night x a weeknight (room 417, 6-7 Oct) and 2 x nights over a weekend (room 1517, 11-13 Oct). Location - exceptional. 4 minutes walk from Museum Train station and around a 10-15min walk to Central Train station. Walkable to nearly all of Sydney's attractions. Saying that, despite being so Central on both visits my room was incredible quiet which is something that matters a great deal to me when I travel. Check in - I used the self check in machines that worked without a hitch. Chceked in within two minutes. The room - Absolutely perfect for what I need at this price point. Very comfy bed, flatscreen TV, tea & coffee making facilities, fridge, in-room safe and free wifi. Also a couple USB-A ports. Breakfast - You can add this during your reservation or at check in for A$21. Based on this price point my expectations were not great however it blew me away. Espresso coffee machines, juice, cold cuts of meat and cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, eggs (and actually decent frequently replenished scrambled eggs), bacon, beans, and a couple asian options such as congee. You can barely get a couple coffee's in Sydney for A$21! Staff - I had limited interaction with the staff as much of the stay is self service (check in/check out) however everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. Summary - If you do not want early check in/late check out, people to carry your bags and marble topped bathrooms (there are plenty of hotels in Sydney that offer this for $500+ a night so go to one of them) this is not your place. If you want a great centrally located hotel with clean comfortable rooms and a great breakfast and at incredible value, I highly recommend the Ibis Styles.

Everything worked like clockwork. Very pleasant staff, a simple room with everything you could want. Happy hour was unexpected and greatly received. Food too was cheap and enjoyable. Not to mention a convenient location.
