Das Zimmer hat eine einfache Ausstattung die schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das Bad ist veraltet und hat schon einige Schimmelspuren. Als wir ankamen, waren auf unserem Toilettensitz klebrige Rückstände, welche nach Rücksprache mit der Rezeption aber geputzt wurden. Leider wurde während unseres 10-tägigen Aufenthaltes das Bad/die Toilette kein einziges Mal geputzt vom House Keeping. Die Bettdecke besteht aus einer Innendecke und zwei darunter bzw. darüber gelegten Laken, sodass die Innendecke die ganze Zeit raus geschaut hat, was nicht sehr appetitlich ist. Das Frühstück war okay, aber nichts besonderes.

Wie leider nicht alle Mercure Hotels in Australien bietet das Mercure Sydney Macquarie Park einen sehr guten Standard. Es ist im bekannten Mercure Style eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Beim "Self Check in" gab es keine Probleme. Die Zimmer waren ausreichend groß und hatten eine Microwelle, einen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher, Besteck und Geschirr. Alles war in einem sehr guten Zustand. Es gibt sogar im Erdgeschoss eine Wäscherei mit einer Waschmaschine und einem Trockner. Der Parkplatz kostet 16 AUD. Die Metro ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, eine Fahrt in die City kostet 6 AUD. Ein großes Einkaufscenter ist ebenfalls nur 5 Minuten entfernt, es beinhaltet u.a. Coles, Aldi und Woolworths. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.
