Séjour à La Rochelle en famille

Nous avons passé un nuit dans l’hôtel en famille pour visiter. Les chambres sont spacieuses et lumineuses nous avions un petit balcon. Le seul point négatif est le ménage Poussière un peu partout et vitres sales. La literie est très confortable.

Familienfreundliches und nachhaltiges Hotel - die Stadt ist in 10 Minuten Fussweg erreichbar. (Auch das Aquarium in 7 Minuten) - Zimmer sauber gross und mit bequemen Bett ausgestattet, wir waren 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder, also 4 Betten  - kostenloser Wasserspender auf jeder Etage -  Restaurant wirklich gross und hübsch, mit Spielen wie Tisch Fussball, Schach, Leseecke, das hat uns fast am besten gefallen.  (Ruhig war es trotzdem) - wir hatten Frühstück, ist sehr vielseitig, auch regional und für jeden was dabei, hat uns gut geschmeckt  - sicherer Parkplatz steht auch zur Verfügung - hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder einmal  - Preis Leistung gut

Car chargers do not work. Car park is 24€ a day. A small beer is 6€. The rooms have bare concrete walls and ceilings . There are no cups in the bathroom. The staff refused to call me a taxi. The towels are like you get in a formule 1. The beds are small. There are no facilities nearby. A premiere class is much better than this.

I had a great experience staying at the Greet hotel with my lovely wife and two boys (11 & 13) last week. The staff were all very friendly and most spoke good English too, the breakfast was as plentiful. No hot fry but a vast amount to choose from cereals, granola, pastries, breads and eggs. We ate in the hotel one evening as we were pushed for time before heading to the aquarium and while the menu is small the pizzas went down well with us all. The outdoor pool was a big hit for us. We enjoyed our evening swim after a day of sightseeing every day. The hotel is just a ten minute walk from the train station and about a fifteen minute walk from the main town area. We had a family room with a king sized bed, single bed and set of bunk beds. Great location for families or anyone wanting a nice space without the noise from hen or stag parties.

This hotel opened in July 2022. It is very modern which might not suit some tastes but we loved it. Our room was well designed and very spacious. The bathroom was big. The location is very good - just a ten minute walk to the port and restaurants. Watch out for cyclists! The hotel grounds still need to be finished off but that didn’t concern us. The pool looks lovely. We did not have a chance to swim in it so can’t comment about the temperature.
