Excellent location in Hobart CBD. Within easy walking distance to the Skybus, Salamanca Place and Battery Point; as well as to the many great cafes and restaurants and interesting places in Hobart CBD. The hotel is modern, clean and inviting. Our Superior King City View room was huge and had everything we needed. Lots of space for luggage, space for relaxing, and as well a Nespresso machine. The ensuite bathroom was generously sized and well equipped. Best of all the bed and linen were of high quality. Included is a daily chocolate hour in the Lobby every afternoon. The breakfast was fantastic - cooked to order hot selection PLUS a buffet of fruits, cereals, juices, breads, pastries and self-serve Nespresso coffee; and self serve fresh juice machine. Staff are friendly and professional. We would definitely stay here again!

Am an Accor plus diamond member with benefits of breakfast and room upgrades. Lovely treat , nice room, friendly staff. I’d come here again. In city and ok to walk around at night although it’s quiet and I was on alert as it seemed like local drunks out not your usual foot traffic.

Located centrally in Hobart city, the Movenpick Hotel Hobart is a beautiful place to stay. Lovely welcome with helpful and pleasant staff. The rooms are very comfortable and modern. A nice touch is the afternoon chocolate hour. A strong European feel and definitely quality accommodation.

A wonderful hotel. It exceeded my expectations. It was extremely clean and in a great location. The staff were great and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept on. The bathroom was very nice, it was such a well appointed room. Would definitely stay here again.
