I was on a business trip with my bosses kids and we had to wait at least 4 hours to even go up to the rooms, so they could be cleaned. a week before our trip I called 3 TIMES to make sure that there was 2 rooms close together, a breakfast lasting until 1PM, early check in, and late check out and I was told yes to all of it. We arrived at the hotel at noon and had to wait 4 hours, so no early check in and the rooms I had asked to be near each other were on different floors. The breakfast only last until 11AM (the website literally says 1pm) and they could only offer late check out on 1 of the rooms after telling me over the phone AND CHARGING IT TO MY CARD that it was offered on both. Also the "breakfast" is toast and juice. That's it. The art was gorgeous and the whole layout had so much effort put in, but the customer service was left to be desired. They even checked me into one of the rooms without my knowledge over the phone (I didn't have a key to the room), then confused themselves and said I only had 1 room booked (the one that had not been checked into). Im going to assume that this was just stupidity from the manager because that is who we dealt with. Please for the love of god get more organized when people book and ask questions over the phone, there is no reason that a 1 night stay that cost $300 per room should have had any confusion or snags. It's your job, the simple stuff is your job, you should know how to do it. The last thing I will say is that the valet was wonderful, really busy but never a long wait, the valet and the people at the front dest should switch positions.(but then again I wouldn't trust the manager at the hotel with a weed whacker, let alone my car.)

21c Museum Hotel St. Louis is a beautiful hotel - the art gallery is one of the best curated private exhibits I’ve ever seen. Every thing about it was great - except there was a fire alarm directly next to the bed that blinked all night long. Every few seconds. After the first night I thought it was something that needed to be fixed and was told it was the way the alarm works. - nothing could be done about it. It was two of the worst nights sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel and I was sad because 21d Museum hotel could be so out standing.

This was our first stay at the hotel and not only was the building and ambiance fantastic, but everyone that worked there was helpful, friendly and made it a great experience. The rooms are decorated very stylishly, comfortable beds and the food at the restaurants was fantastic. We will definitely stay there again.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The amenities were good - exercise rooms, pool, and hot tub were all great. The artwork in the lobby, the in-house museum, and the lounge with shuffle-board and pool table all give a fun, welcoming vibe.
