A fabulous overnight stay with 12 friends to celebrate Christmas. The staff were amazing. We had a private dining room and enjoyed a fabulous 3 course dinner. The staff went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the overall experience was amazing. Breakfast was varied and again the staff worked very hard. Thank you

Enjoyable stay, we weighed up staying nearer the City but made the right choice, this hotel is lovely, has complimentary car parking, it’s a c40-minute walk to the City along the Thames that we appreciated - caught the bus back only because it was dark – or would have also walked back if it has been the summer. Will stay again and a great find. As a side note we also loved the Oxford Hop on - hop off bus tour and the walking tour included in the bus ticket.

Second stay, just as good as we remembered. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Rooms clean and very comfortable. Great breakfast buffet. Unfortunately the weather during our stay was very poor, so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful hotel grounds. Not a cheap hotel, but worth what you pay.

My wife and I stayed here last month for our anniversary and had a pleasant stay. As it was our anniversary we upgraded our room which was very spacious and well decorated… couldn’t fault it all. The reception and bar areas seemed smart too but I was somewhat disappointed with the lager with no head that I was served, very kindly of the member of staff though they replaced the pint with a different one so that was fine. Only other thing that I want to mention is that as we were packing up (…fortunately), a cleaner tried to enter our room. We would have expected this if we were late leaving the room but this was 45 minutes before checkout time! Not a problem on this occasion but we could have well still been in bed. Apart from the disturbance though the stay was very nice.
