Dear Future Guests of Raffles Bahrain, There are only a few places in this beautiful world that my wife and I find ourselves longing to return to again and again. What these places all have in common, I’ve realized, is not just the destination itself—but the people. Our experience at Raffles Bahrain in August 2025 was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, we were welcomed by the incredibly professional and delightfully witty Margaret, who remained with us from the moment we arrived until our departure. She graciously provided us with a tour of the property and ensured that we were gently and seamlessly welcomed into our private suite. Her warmth, professionalism, and charisma set the tone for our entire stay. Later that evening, we unfortunately encountered an electrical issue with our hot tub in our suite that could not be resolved and required us to change rooms. It was certainly strange, as one would expect that all measures would be taken to ensure the suites are regularly checked to avoid such problems with guests expecting a raffles experience that comes with a high asking price and the associated raffles standards. Despite the inconvenience, the situation was handled with remarkable efficiency and care. Within 30 minutes, my wife and I were relocated to a new suite, and the attentive staff even arranged our belongings exactly as they had been in the original room—an impressive and thoughtful touch that did not go unnoticed. That said, when Margaret’s shift had ended for the night, our interaction with the evening manager (we can’t remember his name) on duty on August 28th, 2025, was quite disappointing. The manager was noticeably rude, difficult, and, quite frankly, ill-mannered. In my opinion, this behavior was not befitting of someone in such a role, especially when contrasted with the outstanding professionalism demonstrated by Margaret—whom I would wholeheartedly nominate as a model representative of Raffles hospitality. Thankfully, aside from that isolated interaction, the remainder of our stay was nothing short of magical. Thanks to several members of the team, specifically (Margaret & Sarci Gizem) who were instrumental and massively contributed to an experience so positive and memorable that we already feel a strong pull to return very soon. Raffles Bahrain left a lasting impression on us, and we look forward to visiting again and we highly, highly, highly recommend it.

Bahrain was a stopover en route to Makkah and Madinah for our Umrah, and what a beautiful pause it was. We’re deeply thankful for the villa upgrade — our Accor Platinum membership was recognised, and the privileges accorded were thoughtful and generous. A special note of appreciation to the manager (whose name we unfortunately can’t recall) who personally greeted us upon arrival and made the decision to upgrade our stay — a gesture that set the tone for everything that followed. The villa was so comfortable and serene that we happily chose to stay in and slow down rather than head out. The private pool and jacuzzi were perfect, offering much-needed rest and calm. While the villa and hotel premises were excellent, what truly stood out — and became the highlight of our stay — was the service. Being addressed by name every time we called the butler or hotel line may seem like a small detail, but it made us feel genuinely seen and cared for. Service here wasn’t just polished — it was warm, personal and sincere. We also deeply appreciated the little things that mattered greatly: arriving with slight jet lag and having in-room dining available at 2am was such a comfort and blessing. Special mentions to the wonderful team: *Khalil at check-in — as promised, we made dua for you in front of the Kaaba. May Allah reward you abundantly. Lappy at check-out — thank you for the smooth and gracious farewell. Grateful for the hospitality, heart and quiet luxury throughout our stay. The place is absolutely wonderful in terms of food quality, presentation, and service. The staff are incredibly polite and friendly, and I would especially like to mention Mr. Radwan, who took excellent care of us.

لقد حجزت في يوم 30 نوفمبر فيلا ، وقد تم اخباري عن وجود زواج في نفس يوم الوصول لدي ولم يتم اخباري الا قبل ليلة واحدة من تاريخ الوصول ، ولم استطع الذهاب الى المطعم او التجول براحة في المنشات الخاصة ، ولكن كان كل شي جيد من ناحية السكن والخدمة احب ان اشكر الجميع ومن الجميل السكن هنا فعلاً فقط اتمنى لو تم تعويضي عن تلك الليلة ولكن بشكلً عام اشكركم جميعاً
