Dear Michele H. D., Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at Sofitel Istanbul Taksim. We are delighted to know that you appreciated our central location, the variety of our breakfast offering, and the comfort and sound insulation of our rooms. Your positive comments are greatly appreciated. At the same time, we sincerely regret the inconvenience you experienced upon arriving at the hotel due to the unexpected road closures in the Taksim area. We understand how frustrating it must have been to face such delays after your journey. Unfortunately, the restrictions were implemented by local authorities with very limited notice, and we were not informed in advance of the extent and timing of the closures. Had we received prior information, we would certainly have communicated it to our guests immediately. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused by this situation, which was beyond both your and our control. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will continue to monitor and share any available local updates with our guests whenever possible.
