Terrible customer service

Worst customer service. Asked the concierge on spa prices at the hotel and he told me to look it up myself. Also asked to help make reservation at a restaurant and call a taxi and they also refused and told us figure it out ourselves! Rooms smelled like cigarette smoke and had shower water was leaking into room. Overall expected much better customer service from top tier hotel. Would not return

Dear Guest, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience brought to you, we have conducted a training to the concierge team of customer service, specially the service attitude. and the room division has been focus on the room smell and inspect rooms on daily basis. a replacement of wall paper has been started this year and would been accomplished soon. thank you for your comments and suggestion and apologize again.

The hotel is situated at the city centre, a very convenient location. I stayed 4 nights here and I was satisfied with the hotel service during my stay in particular my room. It was very clean and spacious. I was also impresses by yesterday exceptionally good service of the Chinese restaurant and the Cafe. One point I would like to raise for improvement is the bar which was closed so early at 9:00 p.m. All in all, Sofitel Beijing Central is nice hotel and cost effective.

酒店没有打电话询问是否要退房就直接扣了押金，但我的订单是需要公司结算，导致我付了两笔钱，而且退款到现在也没退给我，工作人员反应非常慢和推诿，没想到雅高的酒店已经这样了 The hotel deducted the deposit without calling to inquire whether I wanted to check out, but my order was supposed to be settled by the company, which led to me paying twice. Moreover, the refund has not been returned to me yet, and the staff's response has been very slow and evasive. I didn't expect the Accor hotels to have deteriorated to this extent.

The hotel is located in central Beijing with easy accesses to business sites and tourist attractions in town. Good value for the money. Friendly and helpful staff, and clean rooms.

Fantastic hotel after reading so many reviews of the last few visits I was a little bit hesitant to visit this hotel however reviews before were wrong, small lauguage barrier is all I will say however, breakfast was fantastic rooms with huge and amazing pool was great. Didn’t see anything like the comments before about the hotel. Yes, the rooms may be a little bit worn but all hotels are and this is not a new hotel. I didn’t feel that this hotel at all was dark and dreary, and after seeing some of the negative comments before I highly disagree with their view on this hotel, it is a five star hotel and a five star service and a Sofitel brand hotel, highly recommend trying this place location was fantastic. Very easy to get to from the train station which is only two minutes walk.
