I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My room was a good size for by Japanese standards. It was in easy walking distance of both the main stations and there was plenty of places to eat close by. I would especially like to thank the breakfast staff they were lovely.

I stayed at Ibis Budget Osaka Umeda for three nights. The hotel is centrally located—just a short walk from the main Osaka Station—and offers a complimentary shuttle bus to the station at 8:00, 9:00, and 10:00 am on a first-come, first-served basis. I used the 8:00 am service on departure and was the only passenger, which was convenient. The reception area was clean and welcoming. I booked a Standard Semi-Double Non-Smoking room. While suitable for single occupancy, it would feel very cramped for two people. Upon check-in, guests are encouraged not to request room cleaning during their stay. The room came equipped with a TV, fridge, kettle, and cups. Tea, coffee, and milk are available at reception. A yukata and slippers were also provided, but the faux leather slippers appeared worn and used, so I chose not to use them. Unfortunately, the room was dusty—enough that I could write on the surface of the mini fridge. I raised this with reception and requested a cleaning. In summary: great location, but the rooms feel tired and cleanliness was lacking. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

It is my second stay in this hotel. I like the location both in Umeda and close to Osaka station. The team is really friendly. In particular, Fuji san helped us several times to go to several places we wanted to visit.

So far, this is the best ibis budget I've ever experienced with. The room space is the same big as ibis styles in Tokyo. The room amenities were unbelievably sophisticated for Ibis Budget tier. The breakfast buffet served is also good, at least compared to Ibis Budget in Indonesia. The staffs are so friendly and helpful since the check-in process to check-out process.

Excellent transit hotel in walking distance from Osaka station. Rooms are tiny but basics are there. This is compensated by a terrace by the entrance, a meeting place as well as breathing space. Staff speak good English
