We had a 3 night stay in April. The hotel is well located, just steps from the metro line, shops and restaurants. We will start with the few negatives that we encountered. The walls are paper thin, you could hear clearly what went on in next door rooms and the passage way. Also anyone could walk into the hotel and access any floor. The lifts all had facilities to use the key cards to access your floor but it was not working. We encountered many people just being able to walk in to go to the restaurants, but could choose to stop on any floor. It did not feel like a welcoming hotel. Check in was simple, and the front desk staff were pleasant. The room was clean, and big enough for our needs. We had a stunning view over the Namba Parks and the rest of the city. It was a good stay but we would look to stay elsewhere on any future Osaka visit.

The Swissôtel Osaka must be one of the best “city” hotels we have stayed in. A personal, hand-written welcome note from the GM set the tone. I have only ever received stereo-type welcomes before, sometimes with a signature added. So this personal note was truly remarkable and much appreciated. The room facilities were superb. The staff were excellent ( and it made life so much easier with international, multi- lingual staff in restaurants and lounges).

I highly recommend this hotel. It is situated in the train station so it is very easy to get to using the Nankai Express train. The rooms are large and comfortable with a wonderful view. The beds are comfortable and there is tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. It was very handy to be able to transfer our large luggage to the next city. This was organised with ease by the concierge. The swimming pool was a lovely addition particularly after a long flight. However it should be noted that children under 6 are not permitted in the pool. This hotel is the epitome of an excellent hotel and I would have no hesitation in recommending it

Biggest bed I've ever slept in. The room was huge and had fantastic views. Lovely onsen on-site. The only disappointment for me was the bar experience. I sat for a long time before was acknowledged and found the staff more interested in talking to each other rather than offering more drinks or food. The view from the restaurant was exceptional and it was very quiet. Piano player was lovely. Disappointing to not offer Accor discount 😕
