Let me say from the start that this review is a long one. This is likely due to the TRIBE Hotel in Phnom Penh being my favourite hotel amongst all my Accor hotels. In less than 10 seconds of entering the hotel to check-in, I was greeted and then was recognised as an Accor member without me needing to say anything. I soon assessed that this Tribe Hotel has a deep knowledge of Accor. More than this, I noticed how skilful the Reception Team is to relate to guests from any walk of life. Myself, now retired and walking in with shorts and sandals. I thank Mr. Maxime who manages the Reception with extraordinary attention to detail, friendliness and hands-on presence. He leads a warm, highly knowledgeable and hospitable crew who know their stuff. Ms. Sokcheata attended to me personally, and I felt like we've known each other for some time. Likewise for Ms. Pich, Ms. Botum and Mr. Heng, who looked after me for meals. My favourite dish was Beef Lok Lak. Mr. Chhengly and Mr. Ronan, their Managers, were also super-friendly and accommodating. On one day, Mr. Chhengly came to my rescue after I hit my head when swimming. First Aider extraordinaire, he assisted me immediately. On that note, the saltwater pool is fantastic, and please keep in mind it is a shallow pool from end to end. I've shared several pictures here of team members because all, yes literally all, are super-friendly. As a result, I leave TRIBE and Cambodia feeling well-cared-for. There are pictures of the Maintenance Engineers, Chefs, TRIBE Express Team, and - extraordinary as it may sound - the TRIBE Executive including Mr. Jeremie and Mr. Maxime. Chef Sky let me know that he has never appeared in a review before in his entire time as Executive Chef at TRIBE, particularly as Chefs are hidden in the kitchen. I am honoured to be the first to mention him here. I must congratulate the TRIBE Executive for training their teams who are extraordinary ambassadors not just for TRIBE, but also for ACCOR and - more deeply - for the country of Cambodia. I believe Executive in many other Accor Hotels across the world, particularly in Australia where I travelled from, can learn much from this hidden gem in the Asia-Pacific. Enjoy the pictures attached. They are symbols of the distinguished Cambodian hospitality and humility.

The room was clean, well-maintained and comfortable bed and good Wi Fi. The hotel also had useful amenities and warm place with great service. Breakfast was good. I enjoyed my second stay here.

Nice rooms. Very clean and modern. Room layout is very efficient. Bed is firm enough for good night’s sleep. Location is also very central. Very nice roof top bar. Would definitely come back again!
