Great bed but overall a bit sterile

I tend to avoid Accor hotels as often they are overpriced. However this was adjacent to Jatowice railway station. Checkin was fast. There are three lifts, much needed as the hotel has about 250 rooms. The room was a good size with impressive lighting and heavy curtains. Aircon was not quite whisper quiet but it performed well. The Queen bed gave me a good sleep. There were bedside reading lamps, a sofa and ottoman as well as a corner lamp. The desk was roomy and had a suitable chair. The walk in shower was roomy but I could not get the rainwater shower head to work. This may have been my error. The bath towel was an excellent size but no bathmat was supplied. There was a hairdryer in a drawer plus a makeup mirror. I did not like the hotel policy of only cleaning rooms every three days, an attempt to save Accor money dressed up as fake 'enviromentalism'. The colour scheme in the hallways was also overdone. Tea, coffee and two bottles of water were on a sideboard. The wardrobe had an unstocked minibar plus a safety deposit box and an ironing board and iron.

Sehr modernes , neues Hotel direkt am Hauptbahnhof an einer großen Shopping Mall , nettes Personal , geräumige Zimmer , Fitness und Restaurant mit Wine Bar 👍 Parken ist unkompliziert, insgesamt eine sehr positive Atmosphäre, Mercure at its best 👍

Wir haben uns für das Mercure in Kattowitz entschieden, da es sehr zentral gelegen ist. Alles was wir brauchten war in Gehweite. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer im 7. Stock war sehr geräumig und sauber; das Badezimmer war mit Regendusche. Das Frühstück war super umfangreich und man konnte Eierspeisen bestellen. Die Tiefgarage hat genügend Stellplätze. Das Hotel können wir sehr empfehlen und würden es wieder buchen. Achja, einen Bebok gab es vor der Tür auch.
