On arrival the staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Trevor and Dana in particular were beyond great. Their kindness and hospitality were beyond my expectation. I had a truly great experience. I can not fault the cleanliness of the hotel either. Thank you and I will be back.

Misleading pics on the web site. The hotel is very dated and it’s in no way aligned to Accor Hotels brand standard. Friendly receptionist and good check in process. Very noisy bar with lots of manual work men. Very dated guest area with mismatched furniture. Poorly decorated corridors / stairwells / room doors. Rooms very outdated. 1970’s style. Room very dusty and not that clean. Stained carpets. No room services so had to eat in the noisy bar as the restaurant isn’t open. Service quick, but great food offering and very poor quality food when it arrived. Not Accor brand standard.

Phone the hotel 10 days before my stay and spoke to receptionist And she booked me in. As it was part of a wedding, I Was the best man and I turned up with my family, including two Kids, one who is seven and the other one 12, when I got to the hotel at 03.00 in the morning my name was on the system, but they said they had no rooms available my boys was half asleep and they left me in the reception in early hours of the morning for 45 to an hour. Telling me there was not rooms I ended up in the end staying in the bride & grooms room. The room that they gave the bride and groom was a double bed & had a dog bed on the floor that they didn’t even ask for as they didn’t have pets I had to move it myself as I had to sleep on floor with my wife and my two boys, Pic below ! When I was waiting in the reception, there was even people fighting amongst themselves. In front of my children All I wanted was a place to rest my head with my family after a long day, at my family wedding , Ridiculous hotel don’t recommend it. Staff wasn’t helpful even the next morning. I asked to speak to a manager and there was no one about left my details with them and still haven’t heard anything from the hotel not even a little phone call regarding the problem would not recommend for any family………. Even When I woke up in the morning went to get breakfast and there was nothing even in the pots had to wait 15 to 20 minutes until the food came out, Poor Quality of food, only thing I can say there was a young girl with glasses that was very helpful and she tried her best to provide a good service…! 28th September 2024

I was at the hotel for 2 weeks, I felt completely at home. From the moment I arrived, my colleagues and I had a wonderful reception. The super friendly employee, Mr. Guissepe, is a great professional who deserves all the recognition, with 5-star service. Always willing to help us. The breakfast was well served, good quality comfort. I cannot fail to comment on the extraordinary room cleaning service, always impeccable cleaning & organization of the rooms. I want to thank all the cleaning staff. you are the best. The team itself has an excellent standard of service. I also want to give my sincere thanks to Dana, Gemma, Kelly ,Abdu. congratulations. Regarding THE BAR service, I was attended to by an employee Holly, who was perhaps not in her best days. We did not receive good service from you. Giving a bad impression, that they were unwilling to serve us. But we are grateful to Mr. GIUSSEPE for always helping everyone with his good disposition and joy on his face. Thanks again to the Reception Team, Breakfast Team, Room Cleaning Team.

Not a convenient hotel for London visit and standards.

We stayed at the Harlow Hotel curtesy of Alfa Travel coach tours to visit London which is over an hour's drive away. The hotel is clean but very basic and hardly recognisable from their website photos. The buffet breakfasts were very good but the evening meal buffet was average. The restaurant staff need training. They disappeared very quickly and on 2 of our 4 night stay I had to look for cutlery and set our dinner table. You cannot order a bottle of wine so have to keep leaving your tepid (on cold plates) dinner to get more drinks from the bar. We had to leave our empty dinner plates on adjoining tables to make room for pudding as there were no staff in the restaurant. The puddings were cleared away while diners were still in the restaurant, so when asked they had to be brought from the kitchens. Incredibly when my partner managed to speak to staff to ask for a dessert spoon, the young man moved over my spoon to his place. When asked again he said nothing and came back and put down a soup spoon and walked away. This hotel appears mostly to cater for commercial guests, conferences. and workmen located nearby. It is not a holiday hotel and standards in the restaurant are low at dinner. The reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. I brought this matter to the attention of Alfa Travel but have had no response from them - very unprofessional.
