Beautiful place, the room is amazing and the staff are fantastic. A massive thank you to Mykhailo and vidla who served me for the majority of the night with drinks, the cocktails are explicit and the customer serice is outstanding, they are amazing and a massive credit to the hotel. Would recommend to anybody. Thank you

Absolutely outstanding stay from beginning to end .Perfectly located close to the city ,staff were friendly and helpful .Room was super comfy ,food was amazing and the cocktails are not to be missed .I would highly recommended staying at The Mercure Nottingham Sherwood

This is our second stay at this hotel and on both occasions the staff have gone above and beyond for us! The food in the restaurant was spot on and very reasonably priced. It was also my partners birthday whilst we were away, he was left a beautiful basket of goodies in our room which added the special touch. Andrea, Fily & Katrina all showed excellent customer service no matter how busy they were found the time to have a conversation with us!

Truly diabolical for disabled

I've been a member of move fitness who run the gym and pool at mecure hotel. I am disabled and was told the disabled facilities would be updated when I joined up last November 2023! A year later and I'm still waiting! The outside bell doesn't work so I have to call when on my way, then I have to call again when I get to the disabled exit for someone to open the door! There have been days where I've been standing outside for over 10 minutes! Days where locals have let me in but no one checks and there's no way to check my car into the car park! Some days I've just got back into my car and gone home! There is no emergency pull cord if I get into difficulty! This worries me as I get very light headed and dizzy because there's no extractor fan to clear the air after the very hot shower! There's no extractor fan or air conditioning in the changing room! This cause's steam build up and I get dizzy and lightheaded. When I try to get changed my clothes stick to me because I'm wetter than when I was swimming! The shower only produces very hot water as the tap just spins around! The temperature tap spins around so it's set at the highest temperature. Really not good when the pool shower is just as hot! There's no way to cool down! There's no seat or handrails in the shower! Not good if I'm wobbly from swimming or feel dizzy due to the over excessive heat! There's no mirror in the shower room! I would like to be able to comb my hair and look decent when leaving like everyone! It's bad enough when I do get there and I'm let in by staff, that everyone else uses the disabled cubicle so I have to stand around and wait, when they have their own perfectly equipped changing rooms upstairs! I have relayed all of the above for a year to move fitness team, hotel staff and hotel management for the past year! So far the only thing that's been done is a coat hook!!!!! I signed up for 3 years membership but regretting it so thinking about going to trading standards to report how bad it is for disabled people and I'm thinking about getting a refund for the remaining 2 years as nothing that was said would be done, has been! Truly diabolical for disabled people!!!!!
