21c Museum Hotel Lexington 4 stars

I booked my stay through the Chase Sapphire Reserve Edit program and was disappointed by several aspects of my experience. At check-in, the staff member assisting me appeared unfamiliar with the Edit program benefits. Another employee had to step in to process my complimentary breakfast vouchers. I was then informed that the hotel's restaurant was not open, but no alternative accommodation or compensation was offered for this benefit. Later, I had to return to the front desk to ask how I could use the $100 Chase Edit property credit. I inquired about applying it toward room service. The staff member I spoke with was courteous and explained that room service could not be accommodated that evening due to staffing shortages. She kindly offered to contact management to see if the credit could instead be applied toward my room charges.She later called me back and informed me that the request was denied because the reservation had allegedly been booked through a third-party website such as Expedia. I explained that this was incorrect, as the reservation was made through Chase Travel under the Chase Sapphire Reserve Edit program. Being denied a benefit based on inaccurate information was extremely frustrating and disappointing. In addition to the issues with the benefits, the room itself was not properly maintained. The bathroom had visible stains and calcium deposits, suggesting it had not been thoroughly cleaned. The room ventilation system ran continuously and was excessively loud, creating a very uncomfortable environment. Furthermore, the air filter in the room's ventilation unit was visibly dirty and appeared overdue for maintenance. Overall, the experience fell well below the standards I expected from a property participating in the Chase Sapphire Reserve Edit program.

We were not told at booking that the bar and restaurant were closed for renovations. They did have a pop up bar but not the vibe we were expecting. We were told since restaurant was closed we could still get room service. We called for coffee and were told that there was no room service on Monday and Tuesday. We have stayed there before and were always pleased. However, charging the same price without any amenities is crazy.

Booked a room in a block. Someone else was checked into my room. Got me into a new room after 30+ minutes. Charged me for the wrong room.

good location, friendly helpful staff, nice room.

We have stayed multiple times at the 21C in Cincinnati and this one in Lexington just didn't have the same quality feel, especially for the price we paid per night. I'm sure the Railbird concert had something to do with the nightly cost but still seemed a little rough especially the 15th floor.
