Honestly I expected more from the museum since that is the big highlight of the hotel. Also, the accommodations are okay but did not do juatice.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We hope to welcome you back to our hotel very soon! Sincerely, Best, Sarah and Lex Team

Hotel is a mess, under renovations and they didn’t tell anyone. In the prior week, I called twice to the front desk to prepare for my wife’s 60th birthday, which gave them the opportunity to mention that it was under renovations and nobody said a thing. Upon arrival, we walked into the lobby and it looked like a warehouse with storage, they had a makeshift sitting area in the back out of the way, restrooms in the lobby were inoperable, fancy restaurant that they bragged about, was shut down and not available. Floors were dirty on our hallway, our room sink was clogged, shower had water spewing out all over the bathroom floor. It’s supposed to be an art museum hotel, and there were only two pictures on the wall in our room. Nothing was available in the room service fridge. We left after one night and all they did was removed my pet fee and breakfast room service charge but they still charged me for the entire room. I moved over to the Residence Inn Marriott City Center, which was a wonderful experience. What a shame that they wouldn’t stand behind this mess and credit me for the room. Terrible experience and by the way, I wasn’t the only unsatisfied one because it was the topic of conversation when anybody got into the elevator.

From check in to check out the experience was terrific. The staff treat you like family. They make a fuss over seeing our dogs.

We were never informed that the Lock Box was closed. No amenities… little information given at front desk. The blue light from the frig (that wasn’t working) glowed in our room all night. The best part of the stay were the valet attendants who were very courteous and professional. Hopefully the new owners will be a lot better.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the lack of communication regarding the Lock Box. We do appreciate your kind words about our valet attendants, and we’ll be sure to recognize them for their courteous and professional service. Your feedback is important to us and hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide the experience you expected and deserved as the changes under new ownership will be worth it.
