Staff very friendly. Arrived at 1 ish, didn't get into a room until after 4 after calling to check status. Wish they gave a rough time frame to expect. Was told room was clean but not yet inspected so the front desk alerted housekeeping of my arrival and room number. Expected to have to wait some but thought would get into room prior to when I did. Wish the rooms explained "call for ice" since there was an ice bucket but no ice on floors. Staff friendly when I called and requested ice to be brought up. Was brought in a plastic bag. Maybe need to stock more ice buckets for staff.

The room was very nice and being upgraded to the penthouse suite at no additional cost was an amazing service, thank you for that! The only issues we had were the couples massage which was lacking. The female that worked on my girlfriend was decent but the guy who worked on me was honestly terrible. I didn’t say anything because he was nice and I didn’t want to hurt his feelings but I could tell he isn’t trained or licensed. He would lift my arm and lower it several times as if it was doing something therapeutic, he dug his elbow into my rib cage like he was playing the xylophone, and didn’t work on the sore spots I showed him. For $120 per person it was definitely not worth the price nor the $30 tip on top. The toilet in the penthouse suite would reflux any time the floor below us flushed their toilet. This led to loud gurgling sound and sewage-like smell coming into our bathroom. When the storm hit on Saturday night, the window or wall leaked water into the floor of the bathroom, and the bathroom mirror fuse blew when trying to use the hair dryer. The bedroom AC would not work so we woke up sweating every night which was unfortunate. We also felt parking should be included for hotel guests because $30 per night is a little much especially when you spend as much as we did for our three night stay we feel parking should’ve been free. Aside from hotel staff to be honest we were a little let down. We understand the hotel is very old so there are some things that cannot be helped but we were hoping for much more.

The sink was fully clogged the whole time, the toilet paper wouldn’t stay on the holder. Everything felt a little dated, and I think the rooms could use a tune up.
