Great room

We loved the room. It was spacious, the bed was pretty comfortable, I loved the purple lights and the rubber duck. We were a little unclear on the process for the valet when we arrived as no one was there, but I assume they were busy parking cars. We sadly missed exploring the museum parts, but I am hopeful to return to do that another day. I did find the layout of the hotel to be a bit strange, but I expected that since it wasn't originally a hotel. The location was perfect for us to walk to the theatre. The cocktails at the bar were excellent, some of the food was a fail, but most of it was great. I will say the restaurant was a bit pricy for the quality, but the convenience factor was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Always feels like home when I arrive at 21 C Durham. I get excited to imagine what art will greet me. Always greeted at the front door with smiles. Room is ever so spacious, with every amenity you could want. Location terrific. Always something to do, see, or eat! Can't begin to thank you all for your warm hospitality

Luxury hotel has service that is just as exceptional as accommodations

A perfect getaway for couples. We had the most Spacious room with the best coffee. The restaurant food was high quality. And the location was convenient to the shows at DPAC.

Gave license and credit card at check in but when we tried to charge our meal to the room at restaurant they said "we didn't have a card on file". Tried advertised bourbon shot at the bar after 8pm- Bartender questioned our validity even though we showed our room keys. Said we "should have ticket for shots". Made a big deal about calling front desk to get the okay. Very embarrassing.
