I'm a needy guest. I left my phone charger in an airport and didn't know the area. The front desk staff kindly offered to charge my phone for me each day I was there. I also couldn't figure out how to use the coffee maker in the room. Got frustrated because I was running behind. Front desk directed me to the restaurant to the right of the entrance and they gave me free coffee. They also instructed me how to use the coffee maker. Every time I asked for something, they didn't hesitate. Now for the hotel. Gorgeous! And fun! The moving penguins were hilarious. Beautiful artwork. The room was well appointed and beds comfortable. Everything was so clean and the toiletries were not cheap dollar store bottles. They were a higher end brand that didn't leave my skin dry. This hotel was a pleasure to stay at.

First time staying at this hotel. It was for business purposes. I expect the room to be more interesting from what I've heard about this hotel. I was also charged $53 for valet parking that was supposed to be billed to GE and not me. It took a lot of work to get fixed. I was never greeted by valet for the 2 times I used the service.

The staff is always so welcoming and accommodation, even during a busy time of year such as Derby Week. Additionally, the property is clean, inviting and fun. We especially love to move the penguins!

We stayed here when we came up for a client's funeral. We were surprised at how great of a location this is and had no idea about the Derby celebrations that were about to take place. This hotel put us in the heart of Thunder Over Louisville. Our room was spacious as well and allowed for comfortable space to zoom meetings when necessary.
