I was entertaining customers and executives for the Derby, and were so happy to be back at this property. Emily Connor and Emily Walker were amazing to work with. They made my job easier by being so proactive.

Had a wonderful stay but have a few suggestions. Had a few drinks at Proof-great ball. When presented with the bill I was charged for the "Big Ice". I would not mind the $2 charge if told ahead of time. My second drink was a replacement and the cube in the first was taken barely melted. I would have just refilled for the additional 2 bucks. At a very nice hotel it seems coffee in the AM could be provided and not locked away in the dining room with a $4 charge. These are just little items that put a ding on my experience. We were in Louisville for a bourbon tour and did not realize that it was also as we were told "Prom Week". The hotel entry floor when we arrived back to the hotel after a day away was swarming with people who were at the 21C only to take prom photos. We could almost not move through the lobby to the elevators. I contend this is not safe and should be much better controlled. Again an experience that was a ding on our visit. Control your hotel please.

We stayed at the 21C for a conference this past weekend. The staff was incredible, the food was out of this world and the rooms were amazing. The uniqueness of their art collections and the spa like serenity along with the incredible location were absolutely perfect!

The room and physical hotel experience was amazing. Our room, the art, the lobby art was above and beyond a typical boutique hotel experience. It is commencerate with the 21c brand. The front desk staff and morning Proof bartender are another story. The pink haired front desk associate was stoic and unwelcoming ... twice. The morning bartender with long hair has appalling people skills and should not be guest facing. Complete opposite to the brand. I paid over $1,000 per night. I expected more on the guest service front.
