My partner and I have stayed in the Cyclone at 21C a couple of times now. While we love the space and the museum itself, we couldn’t help but take notice of some cleanliness issues. There was foreign human hair on one of the bathrobes, as well as hair and grime in the shower. The first tissue in the tissue box had some sort of dried liquid/stain, and a few of the floor pillows had an incredibly foul odor (not sure if B.O. from other guests, but the front desk did not seem concerned when I flagged this issue to them). Just taking in to account the sheer amount that the room cost, I would expect more care for attention to detail. While we have wanted to come back to 21C in the future as a sort of anniversary tradition, I’m not sure that we would as this visit left some to be desired. Thank you

We spoke to the front desk about putting a rollaway in our room because when we booked, it said that the room could accommodate three adults. We left and when we returned, there was no rollaway and it had been given to someone else, so an adult had to sleep on the small couch with a chair pushed up to it. I understand that people make mistakes, but this was very disappointing and made for a rough night's sleep.

The room was nice and comfortable. The staff overall was unpolished and unprofessional. I was not impressed with the front desk staff or door staff. I found them aloof, unfriendly, barely acknowledged guests. Front desk made no effort in providing information about the hotel amenities. It was like having a high school staff managing the front desk. The most professional part of this hotel was the restaurant.
