We did some visiting at the Science Center and Louisville Slugger. We wanted some place close to each. This hotel looked fun, and of course our son is a huge fan of penguins.

The photos online were really well done and presented as a high-end hotel, however, our room did not have that bright and airy atmosphere I was excited about. The beds were too small though there is plenty of room to upgrade them from doubles to Queen beds. The redeeming qualities were the shower, the museum concept and the restaurant which was amazing. Every single dish at Proof on Main was amazing!

Great location. Very friendly and engaging staff, especially in the bar and restaurant. The weekend day bartender was amazing. Did not like there was no refrigerator in the room, only the minibar. Which if you opened to quickly seemed to activate the sensors. Would be nice to have a separate one for guests to keep drinks in.

Excellent stay! Our arrival was smoootj with extra care from the valet, as we were heading out soon after arriving, and friendly care at the front desk. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Love the penguins. Love the art.
