“Fantastic Location and Comfort, Let Down by Poor Allergy Management”

We stayed at the hotel as a family from December 20 to 28, 2024. It was a special occasion to spend the holiday season with my parents, my sister, and my cousin. Our room was in the Oasis Club section and it was very spacious. Our 5-year-old son slept with us and an extra bed was conveniently placed right next to ours. The bedding was excellent, and we all slept very well. The view from our room was stunning, especially at night, overlooking one of KL’s iconic streets. As for the meals, breakfast was very varied and satisfying. We spent Christmas Eve at the hotel and our son was thrilled with Santa Claus’s visit that evening. The dinner was delicious and great value for money. One of the great advantages of this hotel is the direct access to the Pavilion shopping mall, which is very convenient for shopping or enjoying the food court. However, despite all these positives, we would not recommend this hotel. The main reason is that four of us are lactose intolerant. While soy or oat milk was supposedly available at breakfast, it was not always offered daily, and we had to specifically ask the staff for it. Since we were a group of seven, we were always seated outside. We used our phones to translate our requests and avoid any confusion when asking for warm plant-based milk. Despite our efforts, the terrace staff repeatedly brought cow’s milk instead, which we had to double-check every time. On several occasions, the staff spoke among themselves while looking at us, which felt uncomfortable and disrespectful. Throughout our 9-day stay, we had to constantly be on alert regarding this issue. It wasn’t until the last day that a manager finally asked if we were returning the next day so they could prepare plant-based milk—unfortunately, it was too late. My parents had encountered the same issue the previous year and had mentioned it in a review, but it seems nothing changed. Nowadays, more and more people have dietary intolerances that can impact their health. I expected the staff to be more considerate instead of making us feel like a burden. This issue truly overshadowed our stay, which is unfortunate because the rest of the staff were genuinely welcoming, our room was perfect, and the food was excellent.

Super property. Thoroughly recommend. Obviously, the location on top of upscale Pavilion mall is a big draw. It is connected, so you do not need to go outside to access the mall - this is wonderful, for a huge range of stores (luxury and more reasonable) plus services such as hair or nails etc. There is a good supermarket in the basement and an amazing travel of restaurants, plus the factions guys court also on floor 1. Every staff is warm, attentive and professional. Super clean, smells lovely. (Banyan Tree style) My room is fairly 'compact' in size and has rain shower, no bath. Great linen and pillow menu. Iron & board. Yukatas + towelling robes. Big fluffy towels. Oil burner lit each evening at turn down. Thick, soft carpet. All F&B is very high standard, from breakfast onwards. Chefs are helpful and take pride in their creations, while happy to make for your own preference (I am vegetarian) I want to mention in particular: The club lounge staff, particularly Ms Jin Yee and Ms Hafiza who took great care of me and made me feel very welcome. They work so hard, never stopping and proactively offering their assistance and remembering me, amongst so many other guests. I worry their feet must hurt, they are so dynamic. Also the room cleaners are really fantastic. Again, I highlight Mr Herry, who went the extra mile and I am not the most tidy guest! Thank you all and I hope I can return in the future.

19/4 We reached there by 1pm was just thinking to check in and just stored our luggage while waiting our room to be ready because it is impossible that can get a room by 1pm . But after do a check in the front desk told us that our room is ready which is so impressed with the service. The queue was long but everything went smooth. The hotel is so strategic to everywhere and easy access to the mall and on the same wing itself at basement level that 2 foodcourt and restaurant have on every floor a lot varieties that u can get. The room is so spacious and clean with a nice unblocked view. We went to the level 18 to surprisingly that’s is no people there and it’s so calm it just when we was there the pools attendant showing a bit attitude (showing black face, bangs the waterproof bed on thair from folding) im not sure if he tired or lack of motivation of doing same things everyday or maybe he have a bad day. In the next morning we went for breakfast as usual we has been assist by the restaurant host to our table and host nurul asked if is our first time here and we say yes she did a good moved to bring us a breakfast tour and showed us surrounded food area where to get and located and even she ask us drinks that she help us to get. So far what can i conclude here is Everyone here has played their own role from the front desk, bell boy, housekeeper, restaurant host and bellhop to make the hotel stand with their own class proudly. Wish u guys best of luck and ill be back here again in future to try your club rooms it’s look so interesting with the offers ❤️

Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly staff, breakfast buffet offers a wide choice, easy access to the attached Pavilion shopping mall. Only complaint was the far too cold room in which the temperature could not be increased. The unsatisfactory answer to my complaint by a receptionist was that most guests complained about too warm rooms previously. Still the 18 C according to my app was far too cold to feel good in the otherwise comfortable room.
