Kuredhivaru Resort & Spa Maldives 5 stars

We have just returned from an amazing holiday. Our room was just stunning, clean and comfortable. We loved the dive centre and snorkeled many times during our stay. The dive centre team were all so helpful and friendly especially Anna and Seb. Our host Auvaan was courteous, friendly and helpful. The food on the resort was very good with a nice selection

The overwater villa was just stunning, the bed very comfortable and everything was very clean. The attention to detail was exceptional. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, was just amazing. The staff here were fabulous, we would certainly recommend the resort to our friends and family.

Gorgeous accommodation in the most beautiful natural setting with lovely and attentive service

Kuredhivaru, our second stay Arrival: This time, we flew with Turkish Airlines from DUS-IST-MLE. I booked the tickets as award flights through Miles and More. Unfortunately, several seats were defective on the second flight, so the seats had to be adjusted manually. We arrived at the new terminal in MLE ahead of schedule and were greeted by the friendly host immediately after baggage claim. The connecting flight to the resort was a non-stop flight with TMA. We were kindly driven from the airport to the WF terminal in a BMW X1 and were able to pass the waiting time in the new TMA lounge. Arrival: The arrival at the resort was great, with drums, coconuts, and a direct drive by our dear host Auvaan straight to the villa, which was already ready for us to move in. Villa: I booked directly through the hotel and, as a repeat customer and Limitless member of Accor, got a great price for our 13 nights in the Beach Pool Suite Sunset. In addition to the amenities in the villa, we also received a complimentary gourmet breakfast at the Bodumas restaurant as a bonus. A 30-minute massage for each guest is also included. The villa (179) was in perfect condition and is very spacious with a separate living room, which can also accommodate two children. The location is great and offers a direct view of the sunset. The all-inclusive package also includes use of the minibar for selected drinks and chips. As a member of Accor, you also get a welcome drink. Bodumas Restaurant: Here you can enjoy Japanese specialties in a cozy setting on the jetty leading to the water villas, and also have a great view of the beautiful lagoon. All the staff were always extremely friendly and anticipated every guest's wish. All the food is of excellent quality. Latitude Restaurant: Here, too, you can sit comfortably with your feet partly in the sand. The restaurant is located by the island's main pool and offers lunch and à la carte dinner. Here, too, all the food and drinks were delicious and varied. All drinks are either included in the AI or marked with an asterisk if they are subject to a surcharge. The service was also top-notch. Restaurant Onu Marché: The main restaurant offers breakfast and dinner in buffet form. There are daily changing theme nights for the buffet. You can sit with your feet in the sand and enjoy the great view of the beach. The service and food were excellent, all the staff are so warm and friendly and always ready for a chat. You can always find your favorite spot. The selection of food is very varied, fresh, and appetizingly presented. The service was fantastic. SPA: We had all our treatments done by the lovely staff member from Bali (Kadek). The treatments were all a dream, and the prices are reasonable for the service offered. To welcome you and help you relax, you are also offered a delicious ginger tea prepared by the spa manager. The spa offers every type of massage available on the market. Dive center: The PADI 5-star dive center was my daily port of call for a total of 19 dives. Led by the lovely Sébastien and run by a charming crew, I spent more hours than ever before under and above water with the guys. My buddy Sobah and his colleagues Hassan and others took care of absolutely everything. All you had to do was show up on board on time and then we headed to a wide variety of spots in Noonu Atoll. My highlights were Christmas Tree and Orima's Thila, which we visited several times. The reefs are consistently interesting and diverse, the Scubapro equipment is well maintained and in perfect condition, and I felt safe at all times. Snacks and drinks are served after every dive. It couldn't be better. House reef/beach: The house reef is in good condition, with diverse and colorful corals. Every now and then, a baby manta ray swims along the house reef, the native sea turtle is also quite photogenic, and Meggie, the house barracuda, likes to show up. The beach is soft as butter and gently sloping. The beach is also cleaned twice a day to remove coral debris. Housekeeping: Our contact person Azim cleaned the villa twice a day, washed the cups, and did a great job. The villa was perfectly clean. Entertainment: Music plays in the background in the restaurants. In the evenings, a DJ plays at Onu Marché or a really good live band plays hits. There is also a dance floor. In addition, you can play billiards or table tennis in a games corner. There is also a soccer/volleyball/paddle tennis court and a small gym right on the beach with a great view of the lagoon. A new beach club is currently under construction next to the reception. Cast away experience: I booked the cast-away experience in advance for our 18th anniversary. You are taken by speedboat to an uninhabited island (there were two islands to choose from) and spend several hours there on your own. This includes a crew of five who prepare a special kind of BBQ. We had a wonderful time there with a romantic campfire at sunset, plenty of shade, and a lovely crew who took good care of us. It couldn't have been better. The excursion package is available in two different versions (with and without alcohol). The higher-priced package also includes additional dishes such as lobster and Wagyu steak. Sports/health: There are ongoing activities that can be conveniently booked via the Kuredhivaru app. These include snorkeling excursions, fishing trips, yoga sessions, and much more. SPA treatments and other things can also be booked via the app. This reduces the workload for the host who looks after you. Guest structure: The resort is very popular with Russian and Asian guests, and there were also a few German vacationers who spent their time with us. Employees: The resort's employees are the jewel of the hotel. No matter who you spoke to, everyone is very proud to work here and is extremely friendly and helpful. It simply couldn't be better. You can tell that the focus is on the guest and that the staff are not here to fulfill their own ambitions. Conclusion: We are more than happy to have been here again and will certainly come back a third time once the hotel has completed its transaction with Mondrian (part of the Accor chain for lifestyle hotels). Many thanks to the entire team: it was an all-around great vacation here at Kuredhivaru Resort and SPA.
