The resort unfolded before us like a dream, each detail woven into a tapestry of joy. The package brimmed with activities that filled our days with delight, yet it was the tender way the staff embraced our dual celebration — my birthday and our honeymoon — that truly made the stay radiant. Our first sunrise ocean villa, No. 262, stood too close to the reception and the water sports centre, its serenity disturbed by noise. With a gentle request, our host Stacey transformed the moment: swiftly, gracefully, she relocated us to Villa 272. There, peace and privacy embraced us, and every belonging was moved with care. It was as if tranquility itself had opened its arms. The spa became a sanctuary. A room gazing out upon the sunset ocean, therapists whose hands carried both skill and cheer — it was among the finest treatments I have ever known. The floating breakfast was more than a photograph’s charm; it was a feast beneath the sun, with thoughtful touches like two drinks each, easing the hours spent in our private pool. Yet the most enchanting gift was the complimentary beach wedding ceremony. I had imagined something brief, playful, for we were already married. Instead, the staff honored the occasion with reverence. Petals lined our march, vows were spoken anew, glass rings exchanged, music I had chosen played softly, champagne flowed, and a white rose cake stood in beauty. Their dedication rekindled the emotions of my own wedding, and behind my sunglasses tears welled. My first wedding had not been by the sea; this ceremony fulfilled a dream I had long carried. They even sent the remaining champagne and cake to our villa, a gesture of kindness that lingered into the night. On my birthday morning, we sailed upon a dolphin cruise. The ocean shimmered, dolphins leapt in joyous arcs, and we savored snacks with icy orange juice. In that moment, watching countless dolphins dance upon the waves, I felt the luckiest soul alive. The evening brought a sunset dinner, where staff sang a birthday song in their own language, and the night closed upon me like a blessing. Every day the weather was flawless. The Italian and Japanese restaurants astonished us with flavors of fine‑dining quality, and the staff paired wines with elegance. Each meal became a memory, each memory a jewel. There was but one shadow upon the light: the complimentary photo session. We had hoped for a brief 15‑minute shoot beneath the blazing sun, with a single printed photo as a keepsake. Instead, we were told that unless we completed the full 30 minutes, no photo would be given. This rule, unspoken until the moment, felt heavy and disrespectful. Joy should never be forced. Still, the photographer himself was professional and kind, his artistry undeniable. In all, the resort shone with food, laughter, and breathtaking scenes. I would recommend beginning with the spa, to let the body and spirit soften, before surrendering to the overwhelming beauty that awaits.
