We were here for our 40th bday. It was an amazing 3 nights experience for us all, service is exceptional, staffs are very polite, helpful and friendly. Our overwater villa is spacious and cleans, hotel provides house keeper twice a day. Foods are really good. Thanks to The dolphin cruise team we had such a wonderful and memorable time seeing the dolphins. Special thanks to our host Li for her support and well organise, it makes our stays much more enjoyable 🫶

I really think that it was one of the best vacation ever!

Subject: A Heartfelt Thank You for an Unforgettable Stay I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the incredible experience we had at your resort. From the very start, the staff was outstanding—so polite, friendly, and always ready to assist. A special thanks to our butler, Misha, who went above and beyond to take care of all our needs, even arranging medication for one of my kids. His positive attitude and constant helpfulness truly made our stay even more enjoyable. I also celebrated my birthday while we were there, and the cake was absolutely amazing! My kids and I were both delighted. Thank you for making it so special! As for the food, it was simply perfect. I’ve stayed at Velaa Private Island before, but I can honestly say the food at Movenpick was even better. The variety and quality were outstanding—not just in the main restaurant (where we had the all-inclusive package), but also in the other cafes. A special shout-out to Salim, the manager at one of the cafes, for his excellent service. We stayed in both the water villa and the beach villa. For us, the beach villa was the better option. It had so many trees, a beautiful beach, and plenty of shade—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The water villa was nice, but it did get a bit too sunny in the afternoons. Perfect in every way! The food was outstanding at every meal, definitely go to all 3 restaurants when you are there as they are all amazing, we especially loved the all you can eat lobster cooked to order on Maldivian night at Onu Marché. Chocolate hour is not to be missed either, for an afternoon pick me up of ice cream and sweet treats! We had an amazing massage at the spa which was in a water bungalow with a glass bottom, so as we were getting our massage we could listen to the waves and see the fishes go past which was such a nice touch to the beautiful peaceful surroundings. Everyone at the dive centre was very friendly and professional. We took a boat trip to dive a neighbouring reef which was incredible! You even get juice and snacks on your return boat ride! Overall a brilliant experience and cannot wait to return! Our host Shadwa was always there to help us with any questions we had throughout our stay, contactable by personal number. Which made our stay seem less and allowed us to fully relax and switch off! There was never a time that she was not available to help us and no question that she couldn’t answer or help us with so thank you!!!! Everyone we met on the island were so welcoming and friendly. Wesley was always driving around with a big smile on his face and making us laugh, his love for life was affectionate and we looked forward to seeing him everyday! The service and attention to detail on the island was excellent and we are already planning a trip to come back next year. We loved every minute at Mövenpick and cannot thank the team enough for a trip of a life time!

This resort is AH-MAZING!! Highly, highly recommend. From the time I located a Movenpick team member at the airport till check out, the service has been incredible. I didn’t have to touch my luggage once, every team member at the resort greeted me when I passed by, my villa was breathtakingly beautiful. My island host, Shail, so great, and informative, always had a smile. The resort has different restaurants, including a buffet. The buffet had a different theme every night, which I enjoyed. They have variety of water sport activities options. The snorkeling at the Dive Center is wonderful, variety of fish (eels, shark, Dory). My Spa treatment was awesome and calm. The resort is truly a great place to really relax, be at peace, and enjoy the stunning surroundings. I’ll be back with my sister in the future.
