I want to especially praise the chef at the Mövenpick Petra. He was incredibly friendly, always smiling, and took the time to suggest what dishes to try based on our taste. That personal touch made a big difference to the dining experience and made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was even better because of the care and warmth with which it was served.

I am here as part of my Gate1 tour. I couldn’t be more pleased with the location (right across from the entrance to Petra), food, facilities and service. A special shout out to housekeeping Jawed and Hamza for making sure I had everything I needed for an amazing stay. Much appreciated!!

The hotel was wonderful and beautiful, and our stay in the room was great; it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh, and the staff service was excellent. I would like to thank the floor manager, Hamza F., Jawad S., and Yahya for their kind and friendly treatment.

Inspiring Humanity at Mövenpick Petra Hotel

After five years living abroad, I returned to Jordan on a work visit to Petra. I was fortunate to stay at Mövenpick Petra Hotel. Arriving late, I went straight to my room, exhausted from travel, and fell asleep immediately. Early the next morning, as I entered the Saraya Restaurant, I was amazed by something truly remarkable. I realized how advanced our country is in terms of humanity. A very kind employee with Down syndrome greeted me and made my entire day. With pure innocence, he asked my name and which type of eggs I preferred, especially when he learned I spoke Arabic after I greeted him. It is wonderful to see such care for these individuals. As a parent of a child with Down syndrome, this filled me with renewed hope and reminded me that life is good.

The restaurant is magnificent, with great service and a delicious variety of international cuisine… Yahya-H and Odeh-S were very kind and took excellent care of me. They even helped me get information about a tour I wanted to take since I was traveling alone. They were fantastic and I highly recommend them.
