This is our 4th consecutive time staying at Movenpick Resort as a family. The location is just what we need as we settle down from a long years of work. We absolutely Love the hospitality of the staff, the beautiful views of the sunset with the beach, the pools, the many food options and just the home away from home feeling. The beach is always clean, the lifeguards are always there to help the staff is always available to assist for drinks or food at the pool and we just feel relaxed which is the goal of vacations. The atmosphere when we go in either November or December is usually low key and relaxed. We can spend a day lounging at the pool or beach or enjoying activities via their booth near the beach with Scotty’s Action Sports which is amazing. The rooms have everything we need for the family, comfy beds and amenities that you’ll need. The value is good overall for what you get but you have to remember you get what you pay for. Another great feature is the transfer service to/from the airport very seamless along with the shuttle that brings you to downtown and can bring you back as well. A particular staff member who always makes memorable impressions with her pleasant and kind personality is Juleevie. She usually helps us in the morning during breakfast but has been a consistent staff member for us on all four vacations. She is very courteous in attending to our almost 6 yr old daughter as well as helping us with questions and just making sure we have everything we need. Juleevie has exceptional customer service and is always willing to help or just recognize us no matter the day or time. Staff members like Juleevie are what make the vacation feel relaxed and like home and remind us why we always come back each year. Thank you so much.

Having stayed in other Movenpick properties before, I had high expectations prior to arrival. However these expectations were not met from the very first encounter with staff upon checking in until my departure. Staff at reception didn’t acknowledge my Accor Gold Status, nor did they provide a room 30 minutes before the regular check in time which I thought was lack of preparation for a loyal customer who’s status benefit is precisely to be allowed early check in. Regardless of the fact that you claim this benefit depends on availability, I think 30 minutes is not asking for too much and the hotel staff should’ve made an effort to accommodate me in a room at that time. I was asked to go to one of the restaurants to wait for the room to be available. I had a terrible experience there with the food being served 45 minutes after ordering and then finding out that the quality of the food served was well below average. My disappointment was the greatest when I finally arrived in the room. Although the room itself has a very good size, it’s run down and needs renovation specially in the bathroom area. I definitely think that the price I paid was not worth it and wouldn’t consider staying here again the next time I visit Boracay (I live in the Philippines).

Its our third time in Movenpick Boracay. We choose this hotel to celebrate our son's first birthday with close family and friends. Staff were as usual friendly and heplful during our entire stay. My only feedback I supposed is to improve on choices for the breakfast buffet (seems packing from what I remember from our first two stays) and extend complimentary coffee during chocolate hour.

Everything were great…the food, the pool, the beach, the staffs, the rooms-an island resort paradise! Though the extra bed was set up late and an extra towel for my companion was not provided in our room.
