We reserved a sunset picnic here at the Movenpick hotel and it was worth doing on your trip to Boracay! The food was enough for the 4 of us and our private waiter, Myje catered to our every need including taking a lot of photos for us. He was there from beginning to end and even set up chairs so we did not miss out on the fire dance performance. Overall we had a great time and I highly recommend doing this experience and requesting Myje as your private waiter!

The hotel is so far from the "dmall" area and the free shuttle only goes a few times a day on unconvinent times. The hotel beach is full of rocks and not clean which makes it difficult to swim. The shower in the hotel room doesn't have hot water which sucks when your coming back from swimming. The staff in the lobby are super unfriendly and not helpful at all. I believe the upper management teach them these manners since all of them I dealt with were the same. I realized I could've booked a better hotel for the same price. What a shame this hotel was! Don't book this hotel and ruin your vacation!

Unlike the usual hustle of lining up at crowded ports, Moevenpick has its own private port, which means a seamless, stress-free journey from the airport straight to paradise. This thoughtful touch set the tone for what would become the most luxurious and memorable stay we’ve ever had. Upon arrival, we were whisked away to the resort in comfort, and from that point on, pampering became the norm. Every detail was handled with precision and care, making us feel valued and special. When we entered our room, we were greeted by a stunning surprise: a beautiful anniversary decoration prepared just for us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was heartfelt and elegant, and it showed how much Moevenpick goes above and beyond to make milestones unforgettable. The rooms themselves were spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, offering a relaxing feel and comfort. As for the beach—what a dream! Moevenpick boasts one of the most private and serene stretches of sand on the island, with powdery, sugary white sand that feels like silk under your feet. It’s the perfect escape from the crowds, allowing you to truly soak in the beauty of Boracay in peace. When we weren’t lounging on the beach, we were enjoying the massive pool area, which includes a jacuzzi that seems to go on forever. Whether you want to swim, relax, or simply float under the sun, this pool is a highlight in itself. It’s designed for both fun and relaxation, and we loved every moment spent there. Now, let’s talk about the food—because Moevenpick knows how to impress. The buffet breakfast is a culinary journey, offering an incredible variety of dishes from European, American, and Asian cuisines, plus so much more. Every morning felt like a new adventure for our taste buds. And then there’s the famous Chocolate Hour—a Moevenpick signature experience that is pure indulgence. Imagine an entire hour dedicated to chocolate treats, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It was hands down the best snack experience we’ve ever had. Evenings at Moevenpick are magical. We looked forward to Happy Hour, where an extensive selection of drinks is served while a talented live band plays music that sets the perfect mood. One of the most touching moments was when they performed our song, “I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You” by Savage Garden. It was such a personal and romantic gesture that made our anniversary celebration even more special. (Assuming that this was for us) Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible staff, who truly make Moevenpick shine. Every single team member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. A special shout-out to Oli, who consistently went above and beyond to assist us during our meals. Her smile, attentiveness and warm demeanor made us feel at home. What impressed us most was the equal treatment given to all guests—no discrimination, just exceptional service across the board. Lastly, we deeply appreciate Moevenpick’s commitment to sustainability. Their efforts to protect the environment while delivering world-class hospitality are commendable. It’s reassuring to know that luxury and responsibility can go hand in hand. In summary, Moevenpick Boracay is more than just a hotel—it’s an experience, a sanctuary, and a celebration of life’s finest moments. From the flawless airport transfer to the heartfelt anniversary surprise, from the pristine beach to the indulgent Chocolate Hour, every detail was perfect.
