Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay

We had a great time overall at the resort. The property is beautiful, the pool is lovely, and all the restaurants were excellent - there wasn’t a single miss when it came to the food. The breakfast buffet was very nice, and the afternoon chocolate bar was a cute and interesting concept. The restaurant staff were consistently hospitable and attentive, which we truly appreciated. That said, as an Accor Platinum member, this was the first time I did not feel the value of my tier. We chose this hotel in Boracay specifically to maximize our membership benefits, so this was a bit disappointing. While we did receive the standard welcome note and gift (which we appreciated), the overall recognition felt lacking. Our flight arrived earlier than scheduled, and it seemed the team was not monitoring the arrival. They appeared surprised, which resulted in us waiting quite a while. Considering that the transfer is priced higher than others and does not include local fees, we expected a smoother experience. We were also not offered early check-in or a room upgrade, even though one staff member mentioned the hotel was only about 70% full. While waiting for check-in, we were not offered a welcome drink (aside from the app voucher) though we noticed other guests receiving one. The temporary check-in setup also made the arrival feel a bit unorganized and less premium. I wouldn’t say the front desk staff were rude, but there was something off in how concerns about membership benefits were handled. However, Ivan from Guest Relations was excellent - professional and attentive. If he had handled our check-in, I’m sure the experience would have felt much better, even if the benefits still couldn’t be granted. Overall, it’s a great resort with wonderful dining and facilities. I would gladly return, but I hope the hotel places more value on recognizing Accor tier members, especially Platinum guests. Even simple gestures like early check-in or an upgrade when occupancy allows would go a long way in making loyal members feel truly appreciated.

Very Comfortable and Enjoyable Stay in Movenpick. A big culture shock from the usual crowds of Station 2 Boracay. Very Accommodating and Friendly Staff.

Our experience at Movenpick was sensational; from our room, the service, the food, and most of all, the staff.

One week there is not enough the hotel and staff are simply amazing and the incredible food they serve was also 5 star.i highly recommend this fantastic hotel.

The room was nice and clean. The grounds are beautiful. Staff is attentive and pleasant. The pool is thoughtfully designed with plenty of room and separation of space. The food is very good and the baked goods are fantastic! The beach is beautiful but the waves can be a bit rough on windy days. They had live singers every night that are exceptionally talented followed by fire dancing and other performances (very fun and free of charge). The beach chairs are more for form than function. No coffee maker or water in room. Water is a complete ripoff and tourist trap. 380php per 1000ml. We went through 4 liters a day. Shame on you movenpick. Aside from that, it was great experience and I would definitely come back!!
