Was able to experience their Sol Marina Beach Club from sunset to dinner. As the resort is quite exclusive, chilling during sunset was perfect. Good food, chilled drinks, and satisfactory service, with a bonus of fun entertainment was served by dinner time. Special thanks to Judy Ann, Marko, Axl, and Lucy for making our experience extra memorable. Will sure to visit again!

I recently stayed at Mӧvenpick Boracay and while the beachfront and pool area were absolutely stunning, and the service from most staff was warm and accommodating, there were a few major disappointments that fell short of the five-star experience I was expecting—especially considering my previous stay in 2022. Positives: The beachfront location is undeniably one of the best in Boracay—clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. The pool area is equally impressive, well-maintained, and great for families. Service overall was commendable; staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Monique from the management team, who was polite and attentive when I raised concerns. Room & Amenities: The rooms, unfortunately, felt very outdated. The TV in our room was old, with no access to YouTube or Netflix—features that should be standard for a resort that promotes itself as family-friendly and five-star. For the price point and the brand reputation, this was surprising and disappointing. Breakfast Experience: The biggest letdown was the breakfast buffet. Compared to my 2022 stay, where the buffet was one of the best on the island, the current offering was very limited in protein, fruits, and baked goods. It felt like a major cost-cutting measure, which really showed—especially given that breakfast is priced at 1,090 PHP per person. That said, the restaurant manager made an effort to accommodate special requests once I voiced my concerns, which I appreciated. Customer Service & Management: While Monique handled my concerns with professionalism and genuine care, my interaction with the deputy manager made was the opposite. She came off as dismissive, defensive, and generally uninterested in resolving issues. In terms of compensation, they offered a late check-out despite us having an early flight the next morning—completely impractical. They also offered a bottle of red wine, knowing my wife is breastfeeding and cannot drink. It felt like an afterthought rather than a meaningful gesture. Overall: Mӧvenpick Boracay still has a lot to offer in terms of location and poolside relaxation. If you're looking to enjoy those aspects, a day pass is definitely worthwhile. But if you’re expecting a luxury resort experience with modern amenities, high-quality dining, and thoughtful service to match the price and reputation, you may be left disappointed—especially if you had fond memories from previous stays.

They have the best customer service and the most accommodating staff. Ms Mia, Ms Abi, and Ms Riane of The Market were very polite, serving with smiles always. The chef generously granted our request for champorado for breakfast and made a batch specially for us. Mr Axl of Sol Marina was also very proactive and accommodating with our requests during the stay.
