The hotel is very well located, just a few steps from the metro station and close to the lake. The check-in was a breeze, we were given all necessary information. Our room was modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. Our request for new pillows was taken care of immediately. Breakfast was great with the variety beyond believe. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and were not disappointed either. All staff members (at the reception, at the housekeeping, at the restaurant) were nice, friendly and professional. The location close to the long promenade allows you to take pleasant walks and even visit Olympic museum if you can climb the stairs. I highly recommend this establishment.

Jedyny minus. 10.25 w niedzielę po gali FIM Awards pani kelnerka zwija ciepłe jedzenie. Ludzie są po balu mistrzów świata i wiadomo, że idą później spać, więc troszkę zrozumienia dla klientów, a nie zimny biznes i brak wyrozumiałości.

I am pleased to read that the service provided by our reception team contributed positively to your experience. However, I sincerely regret the inconvenience you experienced during breakfast on Sunday morning. Please note that our buffet breakfast on Sundays is served until 10:30am, as it is followed by our brunch service. That being said, I am truly sorry if certain items were cleared earlier than expected or if this was not communicated clearly in advance. Your remarks have been shared with the relevant team to ensure better coordination, especially during mornings following major events such as the FIM Awards Gala. Without proximity with IMD, nobody would stay here. I spent a week at this hotel, the only one close to IMD, quite disappointing. Room was too warm (no way to reduce temperature) and dirty. Definitely overpriced. Pity there are no alternatives.

Technical issues with rooms, issue management is not good.

I've been staying at this hotel once a year for the past few years. I see that things have deteriorated. While the view (if you have a Lakeview room) and the location are great, the rooms have technical issues and the service is not good enough to compensate. The heating in my room could not be turned off. The room was constantly too hot. When I called the reception, they sent a technician but I was told the issue would only be solved the next day by the technical team. They offered me to change rooms, but it was going to be too painful late at night. I asked them to make sure it gets fixed the next day so it would be ok for my following night. The following evening I came to the room after a long work day, I saw that they had left the windows open to cool down the room. No note or phone message to tell me whether or not the issue was fixed! (obviously not, because why leave the windows open in November otherwise?) Another colleague told me her room had the same issue. Yet another colleague woke up in the middle of the night with water sounds in the bathroom. The bathroom was flooded and could not be used. Again, they were told it would be fixed the next day. In this case it was fixed but no apology or compensation was offered. The receptionist they talked to said they were "not authorised" to offer compensation and they would need to check with the supervisor. I am really surprised at the number of issues and the handling of the issues. They should be proactively apologising and compensating the guests for such issues - both problems mentioned here impacts the quality of sleep. This is not acceptable.

Please note that our technical team is usually very responsive and does its utmost to intervene quickly, particularly with regard to heating settings. All our rooms are set to a central temperature, which our guests can adjust by a few degrees, but which cannot be completely deactivated for reasons of thermal comfort and safety. Regarding the opening of windows, we regret that this action was not accompanied by clear communication. This does not reflect the level of attention we wish to offer. We are also sorry for the inconvenience caused to your colleagues. Each situation should have been followed up with a more explicit apology and more proactive support on our part. We will make our teams aware of this to prevent it from happening again. We remain at your disposal for any further discussion and hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust during a future stay. Booked last minute whilst travelling through the region, booked a lake view room which had an excellent view of the marina and lake. Staff were really friendly and helpful, providing metro tickets and brolleys etc, and convenient parking below the hotel. Metro station a short walk away. Room itself was immaculate, room and bathroom were clean and of a good size.
