We stayed one night in a duplex king suite. Oh boy what a luxurious experience. Everything was tip top - spacious unit, cosy setting, lakeview, even come with jacuzzi. Also staffs were super friendly at the desk. Location also perfect! Short walk to M2 subway and bus stops. Perfect!!

Movenpick is a couple blocks from the Metro, on the street running along the lake. Convenient to boats. Make sure you get your free transit passes at the desk. For a little bit more $$ you can get a room with a lake view. From 4 to 5 PM they put out some free chocolate nibs. Breakfast was expensive, so we opted for the Migros next door.

A really nice hotel Air conditioning and very clean rooms Each day room was cleaned Bottles of water left every day Coffee and tea facilities in room The only fault is they have bikes but not interested in renting them as they wanted a 400€ deposit per bike

The hotel is centrally located, friendly staff, however quite dirty. The ladies bathroom downstairs was dirty, paper serviettes and water all over the floor, our rooms bathroom had black mould on the tiles, the mattresses too soft, overall not a good experience for €230. there are better hotels in Lausanne.

Movenpick Lausanne has a great location on Lake Geneva in the bustling waterfront district of Ouchy. It is near the marina, a Metro line, quaint shops and good restaurants. Accommodations are appropriate for a four-star hotel: restaurant, bar, gym, free WiFi and other services. Restaurant and bar staff can be slow and inattentive. Our room was quite warm during a hot spell in Lausanne making it a bit uncomfortable. Despite some shortcomings, Movenpick Lausanne is a good value with an excellent location.
